If you plan to breastfeed and plan to buy anything in advance, make it this. You will be so happy you have it in the early days, especially as your milk comes in. A much cheaper alternative to a pump and you can catch milk in it when feeding from the other breast. Easy to clean and great value.

I opted for this rather than an electric pump as it felt so much more natural. Electric pumps felt really harsh, where as this was comfortable. It was extremely efficient, I was very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great easy hands free pump. I mainly use it when feeding my baby on the other side to catch let down. I usually get 2-3oz in 15 minutes. Ideal as a lot of this would be wasted from leaking anyway. The suction is strong but comfortable, easy to adjust if feels a bit too strong. I feed baby in rugby ball hold as this is the best way he latches and it also means he isn't in the way of the haakaa as it collects on the other side. I have also hand expressed in to the pump which it works well for also.I'd recommend getting the one with the lid and suction base as it is much more convenient and reduces risk of spillages. Overall love this pump as it catches milk with no work and means I have extra breast milk to use as and when needed!

Bought to try and improve supply. Didn't work for that but did help save milk that would otherwise be lost when breastfeeding. Easy to wash, comfortable. Good quality silicone.

It’s easy to use and stay attached well during breastfeeding.

My baby is 3 weeks and after birth I needed surgery and my milk partially dried up . I’ve been really struggling so the health visitor loaned me one of their industrial pumps . My friend recommended these and I thought surely they can’t be as good but look at the volume difference pumping for exactly the same amount of time . Plus no annoying sound and kinder to your nips . I highly recommend

Waste of money

Product is nice quality and I was so excited to use it but to my surprise it didn’t work for me as I don’t have any leakage so just be aware. Everywhere I seen they take for granted that you can collect the let down etc but sadly not my case.

The Haaka collector is SO helpful for breastfeeding moms. Whether you’re using it to manually express breastmilk, or only as a letdown collector, it comes in handy to have at all times. There is strong suction to eliminate the need for holding it in place, and the section can be adjusted by hand depending on comfort and what it’s being used for. The material is so easy to clean after use and is thick and sturdy. I absolutely love the suction cup portion at the bottom of the collector to easily prevent spills, because no mom wants to see collected milk go to waste due to an accidental knock. The cover is also so helpful to have, whether you are interrupted while feeding, or want to store in the refrigerator for a brief period of time before using- it helps to prevent contamination and spills.

I love my Haakaa. I breastfeed my little one for 19 mo and am hoping to have the same success with my next due in July. When breastfeeding I would just suction it to the opposite breast to catch my let down. Was also great on days when engorged and needing relief. Please be aware it says pump but is not a pump nor can you really pump it without it loosing suction. It is more of a catcher that aids in the release of milk with the suction.

The new haaka design is a must have. If you have the old design buy this one. It stays on wayyyy better and if you have leakage like me when you pump or feed you need this to catch it. Your missing out on a good amount of waste if you just let your boob drain into your shirt.You have to have a haaka. Buy two so you have one in the ready always.

Muy útil para esas noches largas en las que poner un sacaleches eléctrico es un rollo. Lo pongo en un pecho mientras mi bebé está en el otro pecho y me ayuda a disminuir la congestión de los primeros meses de lactancia. Muy feliz con la compra.
