I was so excited for a packaging-free and reusable option that would last me for years, but I was nervous about accidentally cutting myself or if it would be difficult to use. I promise you, it is so easy! The closeness of the shave is better than any razor I’ve used before, and it was very simple to use everywhere, including sensitive areas. The product itself is sturdy, great quality, and beautifully designed. I couldn’t be happier! Only advice is to use shower gel or something else as a “shave gel”. Don’t use this directly on skin without.

Let me first start by saying that if you're scared to use one of these safety razors because you're clumsy and worried you'll accidentally cut your toe off or something... rest assured, I'm the clumsiest person I know (I walk into doors quite often) and no toes have been butchered! When you place the blade on this razor, it bends it ever so slightly to give it a really nice smooth angle. It is absolutely perfect for shaving!Definitely you want to soap up and hold the skin taut. I have stretchy skin (zebra) and was having a hard time at first until I started to hold my skin so it would stop moving. The razor is so easy to clean, even while I'm shaving and it has the hair under the component, it has a little slot at the bottom and just putting it under the shower head stream the hair will come out and it's squeaky clean. The razor is super easy to put together and take apart too.I recommend this over and over. I know I just started using it, but damn it's great.

I bought this for my wife. She tried it on her legs and didn't like how it felt. I assumed it was due to her inexperience with double edge razors. I decided to try it on myself. My neck has never been so razor burned. It was red for about 2 days. The problem isn't my wife, it's the razor! I gave her my Merkur and she likes it, but now I'm out $25 on this crap and my wife has my best razor... Don't buy this.

Not throwing out my Venus razor yet. I don’t see this as coming close to my Venus razor in many ways. Got the white it’s already all scratched up. Takes forever to shave with it. Very easy to accidentally cut yourself. Annoying to clean and assemble. Would be worth it if it drastically made a difference with ingrown hairs or something. But overall Im not replacing my trusty Venus for this. Worth a try though.

I've used safety razors for a while and this is pretty alright. If you're new safety razors might be a bit daunting but just take your time and perhaps watch some videos. The tolerances are alright, although not the tightest.HOWEVER! Whatever you do, don't bother with the included blades. They are cheap garbage. They came dull out of the package, fail to cut evenly and one out of the included packet even had rust out of the box! They left me with one of the most inconsistent, unsmooth shaves I've ever had.Once again, the razor is fine, the blades are garbage. Just get astra superior platinum blades instead. They should do you alright.
