Used these for securing a tent. They were so easy to use and saved time! Held secure in 20mph winds.

These things are on the smaller side but are perfect for guy lines… I used the with the red paracord to guy out my winnerwell stove pipe. Never lost tension.

I used these with paracord to quickly tension the plastic roof of a small greenhouse. It's much easier to use these than trying to tie a knot while maintaining tension. The small size is both good and bad because it's convenient for use with paracord but a bit hard to manipulate particularly with gloves. Overall these were well worth it. I hope they will last because constant stress on aluminum can potentially strain it to failure. I'll follow up with any issues.

Very intuitive regarding what to do. No guessing on which rope to pull. Nice and easy for adjustments. Made all my ropes ahead of time with these already attached. Made a lot so that we don’t get lazy and not put a rope on something that needs tying down.

I use them with tree and plant tie down stakes and string. These are much better and easier to use than the two-hole tensioner that typically comes with tree stakes. A lot of tent rope tensioners are in very bright colors. I prefer these black ones because they will not stand out in my yard.As an added benefit, they come with a loop cord to keep them together.

Too small for parachute cord. Of limited usefulness as a result.

Light weight, very user friendly, my 9 yo son and I can set up our camp gear real fast with these. Not a substitute for knowing how to tie a knot but it is fast and easy. I leave mine on my rain fly and it makes set up take minutes.

I'm really surprised by how much I like these tensioners. So far I've used them with non-stretch 3mm vectran cord (dyneema) to hold an 18' sea kayak to the front and back of my car (webbing straps were also used on the roofrack in the centre...!), and to set up a tarp ridgeline. They have stayed in place in every instance, including 500 mile drives to and from Scotland. The ability to thread the tensioner through or around an anchor before feeding the line into the recesses is invaluable. They're so simple but they're ace. Strong, reliable, sturdy, and good VFM.

Item does what its advertised and good quality.

I am using them to tension polypropylene guy ropes of a mast. They seem to hold well at a tension of 15 lb.
