Nice gift for young kids

Bought this for my 7 year old grandson.

The eleven year old declared it as _The best birthday present. In front of other people. Good enuf for me. It is a lovely little piece. Alas some bit smaller than I’d hoped . . . . . Given the child in question is a science geek regardless, altho it was her wish ‘I wish it were larger, do they have larger ones?’

Didn’t work! My son loves crystals and collects stones and rocks at 7 years old. He was so excited to get this and with my help “grow” his own crystals. We gave it 4 days to grow but this was the result. They started breaking off as soon as we tried to pick them up. Not worth it. He was so disappointed, but still kept them on his dresser. That’s how much he loves crystals. I feel bad for him. Wish they were a better quality.

This was for my friend's grandson who's just discovered geology. All 3 crystals grew as promised. He's so excited!

None of the 3 grew anything

We have grown crystals from other kits without issue. This kit none of the three turned out. So disappointed!
