Great model of a Churchill 3 for its size.

This is a finely done model, good for display, befitting the Corgi brand name. The turret revolves completely and smoothly, the gun goes up and down. The tracks don't move, but 4 plastic wheels underneath the centerline enable the model to roll easily on flat surfaces, and these wheels are inconspicuous unless the tank is turned upside down. It was initially odd to see such a classic British style tank with the red star of the Soviet Union on the side of the turret and a flag of USSR on the packaging, as I had no idea that it had ever been used by Soviet forces. The box says that the Soviet Union received 301 of them.A little internet research reminded me that this tank was used in Western Europe and North Africa by western allies, as well as in the famous battles of Stalingrad and Kursk, on the Eastern front in Soviet service. Its a nice addition to my collection, and I recommend it to others.
