Red KapMen's Industrial Long Sleeve Work Shirt

This is an awesome shirt. I have worn it to work for 3-4 years. I love the 2 shirt pockets for my pens notes etc. If washing at home the color does run at first wash so do not wash the darker with your whites. Soak overnight and wash separate for your first wash.

I'm 6'5" and weight 195lbs. I'm tall and thin basically. I bought both a large-tall and an XL-tall. I didn't even try the XL-tall as the large-tall fit great. I wanted something that's not baggy, and this shirt is not, but if I put on 20lbs it probably would be a tight fit. I'm pretty sure this shirt would fit a 6'7" guy lengthwise. The sleeves are about an inch too long for me (no big deal) and the shirt itself is very long.So if you're 6'3" or shorter I wouldn't get the "tall". The material is not too thick but it's actually kind of coarse/stiff, but after a few washes it'll probably be fine.

I have several 65% poly/35% cotton Red Kap industrial type work shirts that are size XXL and they fit great. I'm not a big guy. I'm 5'10" and 240 lbs. I'm not really fat, I just have this "bubble belly" (as my wife calls it). The buttons pull apart on most XL shirts in the belly area and they always seem to come un-tucked so I tried a Red Kap XXL poly/cotton blend work shirt and it fit great. There's just enough room across the belly for the buttons to not pull apart and feel like they're gonna pop AND they're a couple inches longer than the XL so they stay tucked in. I'm an auto collision repair estimator so I'm up and down a lot, laying on the ground looking under customer's vehicles. It's very embarrassing when your head is under a car in the parking lot and your belly is hanging out because your shirt is too small. All of the poly/cotton Red Kap XXL short sleeve work shirts that I have fit great and prevent that from happening.

I am 5'-4" tall and weigh 135 pounds. The shoulder stitch is about a full inch in from where my shoulder bone is. I do not lift weights, but have a somewhat athletic body. In no way am I "yoked". The sleeves are a little long and I would need to roll it up to look neat. Otherwise, there would be enough excess to bunch up at the wrists. Material is similar to Dickies, but Dickies fits a bit better (truer). Even if this were a slim fit shirt (which it was not listed as) it would be too tight in the shoulders and chest. Order your true t-shirt size and you will be in the ball park.

Product took too long to get here (delays Amazon claims is caused by their own company's inability to ramp up with the virus' business opportunity (not the customer's fault), poor quality, too pricey for what you get, poor quality, great if you like a "snug" (to be kind) fit. Nothing I'd ever buy again. I tried to return it and got no where. The latest experience I've had with Amazon who seems to find all kinds of excuses for not performing what they were best known for, "great customer experiences". That is NO LONGER THE CASE.Amazon - get back in the groove or stop doing business. You can't have it both ways!!!!

I'm 6' 3" and 230 lbs, and wear *only* black long sleeve button down shirts, with jeans, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so I'm always looking for the perfect black shirt - and never quite finding it. That appears to have changed with this Red Kap. The XL Long has plenty of length in body (tucks in well) and sleeves, the armholes (which were much too tight on the Large Long I first tried) are just fine on this size, the material is tough, the pockets include a pencil holder, buttons are sewn on well. And best of all, this is the least expensive shirt of all the brands I've tried.

The shirt is actually *****, BUT THE DELIVERY IS*! The shirt is as described and washes well. I placed it in my dryer for 5 minutes, shook it out and hung on a hanger- - looked just like I ironed it.NOW REGARDING THE DELIVERY:99.9% of all deliveries to my home are placed on a porch, a COVERED PORCH, PROTECTED FROM RAIN. Furthermore, the door to this porch is the closest to our driveway and it should be common sense to place the package here, especially with impending rain!!This package was not left there! It was left by a door that has no protection from the weather elements and it is the furthest door from our driveway! By the time I realized this shirt was not in the package left under the porch, ( we had two deliveries that day) I found this soaking wet by the unprotected door! Bringing this package inside, water dripped all over my front hallway!!Needless to say, I was not a happy person!!

These are nice work shirts. The reason I purchased the Red Cap Brand was the open pockets with no flap and they have a slight taper on the sides of the tail. Which, I prefer when wearing un-tucked. The other work shirt brand, I often purchase has a boxed tail (no taper) with flaps on the pockets and is made with a little heavier material than these. The price on this shirt was great and they come out of the dryer pretty much wrinkle free and are color-fast with no fading. I have recommended to friends and will purchase again.

Good medium-weight poly-cotton material. XL size fits about like it should. Shirt is well sewn together. A quibble I have is that the pockets are smaller than other work shirts of this type which I've worn in the past. Left pocket is divided with that 'pencil slot' and the main part of the pocket is too small to fit the eyeglasses case I'd typically carry there. The other issue was that the shirt had a stronger-than-usual chemical smell when unpacked from the plastic bag. Pre-laundering the new shirt before wearing it was warranted in this case.

Ideal work shirt that still makes you look professional.

The shirt color and fit is exactly what I expected, I would have like it to be more cotton, but for a work shirt it will do just fine.

Fits nicely and seems well made. My only bother is that every piece of lint, hair, spider, dirt, just sticks to it. Need to bring a roller everywhere to remain presentable
