Works for us with supervision
So I got these for my 1yr to have another active for fine motor skill building and for fun. At first he colored and showed interest and then he played the drop game and the crayon broke off and dented a little. So I still like the crayons but will probably only make coloring a 1-2 minute activity until his attention span builds. It is really easy for him to make lines with and it was cheaper than the egg version. There is an off brand of the eggs but they are way too small (grape size). So this product was the best price and quality compromise for us. Theses crayons will be awesome for a three year. Also my 11yr drew with us and loved them and he doesnโt even like to draw. He also noted that it draws on wet and dries like a regular crayon.

My special needs patient loves making pictures with them. He can take the tops off with some assistance

I like these but heaven help you if your little picasso ...
I like these but heaven help you if your little picasso writes on anything other than paper. If you order these, you'd better get a bulk pack of magic erasers and some Babyganics Stain Stain Go Away (awesome stuff btw). They have this greasy feel to them and they stain everything, fingers, clothes, etc. Have fun, you will definitely be in a new colorful world! Sadly, I'm a glutton for fine art so my picasso can have these again. But, you have been warned.

Not great it you want a clean house
We bought these a couple of times for my toddler. They're bright and easy to use and fun as a first crayon, so at first we loved them. But then bits kept falling out onto the carpet and furniture and it was impossible to get out. Also, the crayon goes on so thick that it is easy to get it on clothes (and hard to get out).We haven't ordered them for a while. maybe they're better for older kids who won't make such a mess. We still use paint and other crayons and obviously are fine with the regular mess we see from those, but these crayons were just too much - the stains would not come out.

Great for kids with weak/poor grip
My 18 month old uses these and loves them. He has weak muscles/poor grasp and the light weight allows him to hold these up to color. The best part is the waxy crayon barely needs to touch the paper to be rewarded with bright, vibrant lines. The only caution is our three year old colors hard and that creates a mess! Regular crayons for him, twistables for little guy.

These are great for little hands
I bought this based on the reviews and I agree with what most said. Very good for toddlers because they write very smoothly. No hard pressing necessary to get pretty colors. I'd love more colors. For the product managers at Crayola. I tops are kind of hard to snap back on. It would be great to have it so my daughter can pop them on and off herself. Even for me, the tops are hard to put back on so that they say on.

By far the best I've tried
This is hands down the best crayon I've ever bought for my toddler. It delivers strong and vivid colors and actually encourages her to draw. While other crayons just left flimsy scribbles on the paper, this one goes the extra mile for tiny hands while little fine motor skills. Plus the fact they are twistable adds to the fun - and to the motor skills practice! I'm purchasing the 12 count pack.

A good idea, in theory
I got these for my 3 yr old and they are great in the sense that they work well and you get a much darker line than with regular crayons. But, they also leave a lot of "wax" on the paper and it comes off on any other surfaces, hands, clothes, etc. We even got some on our couch when someone took their drawing to show someone who was sitting on the couch. And that pretty much didn't come off. So I would't buy these again. Regular crayons are just fine.

Amazing colour!
These are brilliant. We got one in the Crayola advent calendar and had to buy a set. The colour you get off them is immense, high pigment and thick coverage. They can get a bit messy though, and colour doesnโt seem very washable. Great for adults too, akin to oil pastels type effect, you can blend the colours easily.

These detain! Basically oil pastels
These are great crayons but they're basically oil pastels.... i gave them to my 3 year old and almost immediately regretted it. The colour gets EVERYWHERE and while it cleans off of wood and hands easily enough, it stains walls, carpet and clothes and transfers off of the paper the way oil pastels would.I wouldn't recommend give these to any kid under the age of 5 or 6, and even older if your kid had a tendency to colour on walls or be careless with their colouring.

Great colours for little hands!
The colours are simply superb!Quite pigmented and maybe a tad too soft for toddlers as it very easily smothers onto their fingers. But the ease with which toddlers can colour is really good!N yes, they are washable indeed! :-) :-) :-)

Great service, great product!
I was told that Twistables could replace Gelatos in Mixed Media Art. It's true. So, I love the product. But I was amazed at how quickly they arrived and how well packed they were.

Four Stars
Very good quality crayons for small children, as the stalk is thick and can make broader strokes with it.
