SHARP
This is such a great kitchen tool. It is the sharpest knife I’ve ever owned. I have owned one for a while and I bought this one as a gift for my son who loves to cook.

Feels good in the hand
Very balanced and comfortable in the hand for such a large knife. Other reviews mention how sharp it was right out of the box, but that wasn't my experience. After washing it off, my first try with it was slicing up a rather large sweet onion. It felt like I was having to apply too much pressure to get it to start cutting, and was afraid the blade was going to slip dangerously. After I spent a few minutes touching up the edge with my 4000/8000 grit Japanese water stones and honing steel, I was able to get paper thin slices off the onion with almost no effort at all. I don't know if my knife got by an inspector, or what, but that's the reason I'm only going with 4 starts overall instead of 5.

Cleaver with good weight, shape, and toughness
This is a very well made cleaver. I like its weight, handle, and shape which allows knife-type cuts but importantly "push" type cuts and using the off-hand to help the blade through whatever you are cleaving. Its German stainless which I think is 1.4116 -- an OK softish steel, but works well for a cleaver which prizes toughness over holding a razor edge. Its easy to sharpen in any event. Overall this is a solid step up from run-of-the-mill cleavers and works well.

High quality and very sharp in looks and cutting performance
Bought this along with TUO Vegetable knife and I am in love with both. Very well built with quality material on both blade and handle and it looks amazing. Cleaver has a bit extra weight (design intent) as this make it perfect for chopping veggies into very small/fine pieces. Extremely sharp. I can almost make a tomato puree with this in seconds.
