Great "Real" Lifestyle Advice from SarahFit
I really admire Sarah for putting together this book of her best workouts, recipes and lifestyle tips for a healthy lifestyle. You don't like "Skinny" in the title? Get over it. If you take the time to read the book and spend less time worrying about political correctness, Sarah explains that "skinny" is a feeling; it's that time when you feel the best version of you, and not when you have the smallest measurements. In fact, Sarah explains that her "Skinny" feeling, isn't when she was at her smallest. Sarah strongly advocates for a healthy and fit lifestyle, no quick fixes or crash dieting. I've been following her philosophy with regards to working out and eating clean and green, and I've lost 30 lbs in the last 1.5 years and have successfully kept it off. Could I lose more? Sure, but I'd be missing out on fun stuff like drinks with girlfriends, holiday treats and summer barbecues. Sarah is the first to admit she has a sweet tooth and fully enjoys the occasional boozey drink or dessert (I mean real dessert) and would never tell anyone not to enjoy similar treats when the occasion arises. That said, keeping to Sarah's clean diet and fit lifestyle will help get rid off and keep off unwanted pounds while still allowing for a few indulgences! She provides a system and methodology that makes incorporating workouts and planning meals (at home and away) easy and seamless. The only thing I wish the book had more of is more recipes, but I'll keep watching sarahfit.com for more foodspiration. I recommend this book to any young woman/recent grad looking to make a true healthy lifestyle change.

Life in the Real World
Ms. Dussault offers excellent advice and options for fitness and better eating that anyone with a 9-5 job can appreciate. She offers workout options for home bodies and gym rats alike. I have a gym membership but I find I use the at home work outs much more. There are not many recipes in this book-- I think the majority are on her blogg-- but the one I have tried thus far (the protein muffins) are EXCELLENT. She gives honest advice on how to live a healthier lifestyle without sacrificing splurges such as dinner and drinks with friends.

Love the information in this book. It is made simple for the busy working day women these days.
I just got this book in the mail and was super excited to get it. Already bookmarked workouts for my upcoming week. I have watched her youtube videos for awhile and was really happy to hear she published a book. I often saved her workout videos on her channel to my favorites but i really love the idea of having them at my finger tips in a book version. Well worth every penny I paid.

THE lifestyle handbook for any girl looking to get fit
I love all of the ideas for working out anywhere to eating well on a budget. I think this is a great go-to guide for girls trying to keep a balance of work, school, and staying in shape. I love the language in the book similar to the sarahfit blog where she skips the impossible scientific terms. I am so excited to have it as a reference on my ipad!
