The tape seemed to be just the right combination of stability and pliability. We used it primarily on the toe-edge of interior Church steps covered with rubber, so it had to mold itself around a pretty good rounded angle. Went on easily and so far is tight and no edges creeping up. The coloring not too bright yet draws the eye - perfect for us. Heckuva lot better than duct tape :-). Has a mild grit to it, not slippery. And great price.

I would say, as long as you don't get wet and make sure it's dry when you stick it on, it should be fine.

Q: I need it for underwater swimming pool stairs. Can this tape be used underwater?

I don't know if it works underwater, but it works well in my shower.

Q: Is there any sand on this tape? Is it sandy?

It has a gritty texture, but I'm not sure if it's due to sand or other particles.
