Vocational Astrology

Excellent
If you have some understanding of astrology, this is an excellent book to help answer the question “what do I want to do for work/career?” Judith emphasizes the need to look to both temperament (Sun, Moon, Asc) and career placements (MC, ruler of MC, etc) to find work that brings you success AND happiness. I have studied other areas of astrology with Judith and she once again nails it.

The cover is correct but the actual book is incorrect.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased an Vocational Astrology book by Judith Hill and the cover was correct but the book inside was a bible study book, The Epistle to the Romans: A Gospel for All. I’m not the only one that has received a copy like this. Very disappointing.

Judith Hill is truly brilliant!
A very rare look into a fascinating subject! This is an exceptional compilation, offering insights only a master Astrologer can scribe. Judith Hill is truly brilliant!

Vocational Astrology
This book is really good, and even won a "Best Book" award for AFA. Inc. publications.Students will love the inclusion of at least 100 vocational horoscopes in the back.Hill is very thorough (as usual). Sun signs are covered, but also Moon signs, Ascendant signs, house position ofchart ruler, the four elements (and their vocational aptitudes), the three vocational houses, the MC,strongest planet and much more.Plus, the section on "Vocational Faults of the Signs" is accuratelyamusing. The author includes some excellent and rare material on Vocational timing by transits. The reader is led from basics to "how to" read a chart for best careers. There are very few books on this topic, and this book confidently fills the gap.

Good for career astrology in the 1960s but could provide more examples
Beautifully and quite clearly written, but:1) There is only one example of a birth chart analysis and considering how complicated the topic is, she should have included at least 102) The 100 charts are from people born in the early 1900s and the professions are nothing like the modern ones. Professions such as Haberdasher, Merchant Seaman, Calligrapher, Carpet Dealer, Madame are present whereas corporate professions such as Marketing Manager or HR Specialist or very newly common ones such as Nutritionist were not represented at all.3) She needs to dive a little deeper into the difference between temperamental indicators and planetary career ruler.4) My chart has 5 dominant planets and lots of possible careers to look into but I couldn't for the life of me figure out which one is predominant by following the book's instructions. It could be clearer in providing indications in case of extremely difficult charts to read.

Clear and straight forward
Clear and straight forward as usual. Everything is explained very clear and straight to the point. If you want a practical book on vocational astrology this is the one I would recommend.
