The quilt is for an elderly person, so I like that it is lightweight and soft to the touch. I washed and dried it (on low heat,) and it came out looking just as new as before. The color is exactly as shown as well. And it fits nicely on a hospital bed.

I have really bad knees and am post-menopausal, so I can't take heavy blankets at all. I got this hoping it would at least look nice. It looks beautiful and I absolutely love the color. I was worried it would be too yellow but it's really the color of cream or ivory, you can't tell it's not a a pure white, even with pure white sheets.One star knocked off because the fit definitely isn't as shown, the sides are much shorter.Out of the package it seems stiff, but after a good wash in hot and dry on high heat it's become nice and soft.Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.
