GEWH1X2727 GE Washer Tub Dampening Strap

Fixed the washer balancing issue and was easy to install on my GE washer. So glad this was available through Amazon at a good price, quick delivery, and saved a repair bill!

Lasted four loads. I bought 4 and only needed two. Installed the second set and they lasted 5 laundry loads. The loads were normal size 8 lbs. The rubber must be old. I need two more were can I buy? I will not buy from this vendor. There has been no support from Amazon, none, this vendor has not replyed also. So why complane, it has been my loss of money and my loss of time. I will not buy from Amazon,or any of their Vendors, no support no help no good.Jim

While my seller replied promptly to my concern, I would not purchase these straps again. My original straps lasted for 5 years, when one broke I ordered 4 replacements to refit all of them at once while I had the washer apart. two weeks, and 10 loads of laundry later two of the replacement straps are already broken. The seller did indicate that these will break from overloading the washer, however my washer is never filled over half way, I make it a point to not overload the unit to minimize wear and tear. Seek other avenues of replacing these.

It has been a few weeks now and no breakages as noted in other posts. I'm totally happy. Glad I got a good batch.

Original straps lasted over 10 years. These 4 replacement straps lasted around 10 loads. No overloading or unbalanced loads. If someone know where quality straps can be found would gladly pay more.
