The magnet is strong and the metal components seem pretty sturdy and well machined.That said I think at £12 i’d at-least expect a set of illustrated instructions and I’d argue the 11mm suggested drilling into the floor is too big so opted for 10mm for a little more grip.Used an off cut of wood to pre flight the install. It was helpful to see what issues I might come up against.Think a screwdriver sized cut to the head of the mounting bolt shaft for grip would have helped installation

Started to rust fast
Strong magnet solid build onto the floor.Unit in on the door is much cheaper and lighter and has started to rust after 3 weeks.I packed it with a copper washer.That could be the cause?
