Patient needs to be stable to use
Excellent tool for the price. Enables the patient to turn on the pivot which is so important for people with mobility issues. It’s uncomplicated and works the same each time.

Works amazingly!!
My mom broke her leg badly needing plates and screws. She is unable to bear any weight on the leg. This product helped to ambilate her on her own. This product is a must for people that can only use one leg and has very little mobility!! This product saved us so much time and energy to move her!! It's amazing!!

Effective way to transfer patients
This is a good option for patients that require extensive assist for pivot transfers. For the person helping, for this product to safely work, you need to make sure you have good foot placements yourself so as not to interfere the pivot and you both dont lose your balance. One downside is as you lower the patient, there is a tendency for the pivot disc to still move and may cause foot to slide or patient to fall. It helps a lot to plan, make sure the wheelchair/chair and bed are at the recommended angle. This also works for transfers in and out of car.

Great help to transfer my mother.
My mom has stopped walking and is now a lift and pivot for her transfers. Before this product it was tough to even get her legs to turn at all amd she will complain about pain. Now she stands on the disk and we just spin her body and she does have to or we don't have to move her legs. No more complaining about pain! It is great!

It’s hard to turn.
It doesn’t swivel easily. For a person with mobility issues it isn’t ideal

What a Good and triumphant Friday.
I used this product today for the very first time to transfer a disabled person. In spite of the reviews, it did not come apart and does what it says. I had a difficult time positioning my foot initially but was able to do this with ease the 2nd time I used it to transfer from a bed to a wheelchair. I am glad I bought the bigger disc. There’s a smaller one but you should buy the bigger disc so you have room to put your foot. Overall, the disc made transferring very quick, easy, and in just one simple step compared to doing the standard manual transfers. It’s great for both caregivers(non medical) and medical personnel. I never comment on products but this disc made my life so much easier that I thought I give it a positive review to encourage others to use.

Poor Construction
Upon opening the box the adhesive that holds the gripping material was coming loose. The rotation is fair. The heavier you are the more resistance there will be when rotating which is arguably a good thing so you don't go spinning too fast. If you are a lightweight it's going to spend much faster so plan for that. It is super important that the person is able to stand up with their feet close while rotating. Who is assisting needs to keep their triple a shoe on the device so it does not rotate until you are ready for it to have it rotate. You definitely need to assist the user otherwise they could easily fall. Great product idea but cheaply made. I keep one in my car to help with the transfer of a passenger, it's better than nothing for sure. Floor placement is key oh, you have to put it in the proper position from the get-go if used in a wheelchair to car transfer application.
