Zwack Unicum herb liquer with plum (Szilvás) 50cl

I tried Unicum many years ago on a trip to the Hungarian capital of Budapest whilst on a work trip and was taken back by the strength of the flavour, and I have to admit I was not an instant fan.Many years later and I bought some as a joke for a friend of mine, and rather than getting annoyed at me, he actually loved it! I don't know if my palette has matured perhaps, but I also really like it now too!I've shared many a glass with him from this bottle now, and the flavour is almost medicinal, with a hint of licorice, it is quite strong but very easy to drink once you get over the initial flavour hit!I assume you could drink it with a mixer or with ice, and honestly I don't know what the recommended way to enjoy this actually is, but straight up in a shot glass is the way I have been enjoying it, and will continue to do so. I'll definitely buy again... but next time I won't be giving any away :)
