Absolutely cannot recommend this guitar enough
Absolutely cannot recommend this guitar enough! I had been looking into a lot of different brands and styles (martins, taylors, ibanez, art & lutherie, teton, etc.) for quite a while. I might have bought it sooner, but unfortunately Simon & Patrick guitars aren't sold anywhere near where I live. Finally the combination of great reviews I had seen, videos and comparisons of the guitar vs others, and drooling over it for weeks led me to purchase this instrument.Looks:I really liked the classic look of this guitar, with a very nice yet simple design. However, the pictures on here do not do justice to how absolutely beautiful this thing looks. The spruce top is much lighter than the pictures show, and the sides are a lighter brown as well. This guitar looks easily twice as good in person as it does here.Feel:This guitar has a satin finish which I love. The neck feels really great and natural as well. The action on this guitar is excellent! Hammer-ons and slides all feel and sound delightful and natural on this guitar compared to others I have played.Sound:Good heavens is this a sweet sounding guitar! I have played instruments that cost well over $1000 that don't hold up to the sound this guy puts out. The tone is so clear and bright while also being delightfully full and strong. I believe these come equipped with d'addario mediums, which I used for a while after buying the guitar and loved it. I have since switched them out for elixirs and the sound has only gotten better! While it is excellent for both strumming and finger picking, I think I prefer it a little more with a picking style. This may just be because the action is nice and low, and it feels really responsive. Going back to my older guitars now, they sound flat and boring in comparison to this one.Overall, I am absolutely in love with this guitar! Buying it without getting a chance to play one was a dangerous move that most guitar players wouldn't even consider, but I have never once regretted it. I don't think you could find a better guitar out there for the price of this one. It is leagues ahead of other guitars in it's price range, and well ahead of many more expensive ones! I will be loving this guitar for a long time!

... guitar for my son and it has a very nice sound. Especially in the mid-range
I bought the guitar for my son and it has a very nice sound. Especially in the mid-range. The price was great for a solid wood guitar.

Great sound and play ability for a lower cost solid wood guitar.
So far this has been a great guitar. Very playable and although I haven't had it checked for setup by a tech it seems to be good on all frets, string to fret height, neck straightness etc.I imagine this getting better as the solid wood ages more and I get enough hours on it however I am very pleased with the sound now.

Maybe best all wood guitar dreadnaught value on market ...very martinesque. ..I have 2 martins this one holds its own with tone and handling. Qualty instrument. Not ornate just good sounding ...the wood is. Beautiful made in Canada

warm mahogany/spruce sound
This guitar is very well made with excellent attention to detail. All the parts fit well and the wood is of very good quality. The mahogany wood on the back is almost translucent in some places. The sound is the classic mahogany/spruce sound. It arrived very well set up. My luthier told me he would not change the factory set up at all. The tuners are of a good quality too. This is a fine guitar for this price range. The Woodland Pro guitars are developing a fine reputation. Given the bracing pattern and wood combination, you get a classic guitar sound.
