so sweet!
Okay this book doesn’t even feel like an age gap story.. Harrison and Julianna are perfect for each other did I hate that she jumped at the chance to go back to Thailand.. yes but it made the story so it kinda needed to be done but this story was beautiful!

Rollercoaster of emotions
This author is new to me, I'll definitely be looking up more of her work. Unpredictable is dual POV, the main characters are both hot messes over their pasts, for very different reasons, they click and the sparks fly, they're the perfect match for each other, but will they get HEAs?⛔SOME SPOILERS⛔Juliana's life changed in the blink of an eye and she's been in limbo since that dreaded day. The only thing thriving is her party/wedding planning business, she has nailed...for everybody else. A night of letting herself go leads to a one-night stand and feeling both good and bad, he made her feel alive and also feel guilty. She would be back to business as normal and that would be the only time she would ever see the nameless hot as sin guy, so no problem, right? Harrison is a former NFL player, single dad to a grownup daughter and very bitter over his divorce, swearing off all the hearts and flowers rubbish for ever, in other words LOVE is a no-no, he's been there done than and never wants a repeat. He needs to make good with his daughter hoping to snag the best wedding planner for her, instead he gets a one-night stand with an anonymous beauty. The night of passion had him second-guessing his choice, he can't stop thinking about her, but it's kind of a moot point, not even having her name, right? When the past keeps messining with the present, will it be possible to get an HEA? Or will life just go back to, the daily grind and merely just existing?

Great read.
Harrison was a former NFL player and when his daughter told him she was getting married he wanted to give her the best wedding he could. He no longer believed in the happy ever after, his ex saw to that when she left their daughter with him and went off to do her own thing. Over the years he had the occasional hook up, so he was shocked to find the woman who was the wedding planner organising the wedding. The night with her had been really special and he still wanted her. He tried to stay away and when things became more serious, he promised to tell his daughter once the wedding was over only other things got in the way.

Okay read
Wanted to really love this book but to be honest I struggled with Juliana’s character. For someone so mature and successful she was a real ditherer and acted much younger. The author spent so much time on Ryan and his disappearance that the ending for me was a damp squid. Was an okay read but not enough to pull me in for another book.

Beautifully written with the emotional feels ❤️
This is my first read of Jenna’s and I’m a sucker for age gap’s so I just had to read this. What I loved about this book was that yes, it was an age gap, but it was never made an issue. It was about two people finding love again and learning to live in the present and was refreshing to read with the heroine being older (37) and not in her twenties or just turned 18 which is most typical for this particular genre.Harrison (51) and his daughter, Olivia, turn up at Juliana’s event planning business so that she can help plan Olivia’s wedding. Harrison and Juliana are stunned to come face to face, especially as they shared a one-night stand with each other a few days previous. The two are then forced together when Harrison is left to plan his daughter’s wedding. During this time emotions heighten and their one time only agreement doesn’t last long!Harrison (sigh) I love him! Move over all the silver foxes you know, he’s certainly going to the top of my list! As well as being older and all kinds of hot, I fell in love with his heart and his character. He’s kind, thoughtful, encouraging and made my ovaries explode with how much he loved his daughter, he was just perfect with a little bit alpha thrown in there.Juliana, my heart went to her. She has suffered such loss but has been stuck, unable to move forward struggling with her grief. I could totally understand how she felt, not getting closure and admired her strength to finally move on and take the next steps and ‘let go’.This is book 4 in the series and the only one I have read, it can definitely be read as a stand-alone but after devouring this read I will be making sure to check out the other books.This was such a great book and wasn’t anything like I was expecting. It was beautifully written, low on the angst but hit with its emotional feels. A must-read!

Lovely Romance
This is my first book by Jenna Hartley and I'm so glad I picked it up. This is a second chance at love and an age gap romance the icing on the cake is they are a more mature couple. I just adored Harrison he is commitment shy but one night with Julianna has him fascinated and intrigued. Julianna is still grieving the loss of her fiance, she is stuck in limbo but could he be the man to shake up her life. The emotionally intensity of the story was written so well you really feel the pain and confusion of the characters. The journey to a HEA is not guaranteed but with all the friends and family willing them on the reader has high hopes for them.

Absolute Perfection! 5+++++ Stars!
Unpredictable (Love in LA #3) is a poignant and stirring love story. Jenna is known for writing romances that feature strong women and the men who fall for them. Unpredictable is no exception but she also gives us a story so gut-wrenchingly powerful that it will hit you right in the heart. Juliana is the event planner to the rich & elite of LA. Her job is celebrating major life events while her own life is at a standstill after a tragedy that she can’t seem to move on from. She has watched her friends find happiness and love and wants the same but she also is afraid to let go. When Juliana makes a very rash decision to have a one-night stand…imagine her surprise when Harrison walks into her office to start planning a wedding (don’t worry, it’s his daughter’s wedding). Now Harrison…..he was perfect. Despite his own initial hesitation to start a relationship he can’t ignore his feelings and he jumps in 100%. He would do anything for Juliana…even to the detriment of his own happiness. His love for her was what everyone dreams for in life. Not to mention, he is this gorgeous ex-NFL silver fox…hello Daddy. I love how Jenna writes her female characters. They aren’t perfect but they are smart, strong, vivacious and funny. Juliana was struggling with moving her life forward but her strength just leaps off the page. To undergo what she did and still be able to wake up each morning and live her life was the epitome of strength. But she was also honest in her sadness, her inability to just let go and her fears of loving anyone again. This is what I love how Jenna writes woman as she is 100% truthful in her characterizations…there is no ignoring or overdramatizing the flaws we all have. With Jenna, we get the truth….woman are perfectly imperfect. We are strong through our vulnerabilities & weaknesses, we can laugh through our tears and even someone with the most damaged heart can love again. Juliana is the perfect example of this and I just absolutely loved her. To watch her go on the journey she does in Unpredictable and find her way to exactly where she deserves to be was wonderful.This story is more than an steamy romance (and it is steamy because Harrison & Juliana are 🔥 together)…it is a impassioned story about moving on after tragedy and about how it is never too late to fall in love. It’s about finding strength that you didn’t even realize you had and knowing you are deserving of your own HEA. I challenge you to read this story and not have tears in your eyes throughout…I couldn’t. It was overwhelmingly soul-stirring in exactly the way I want a story to be and what I expect from reading a book by Jenna. I won’t say this is my favorite book in the Love in LA Series (that would be like picking a favorite child) but Unpredictable is really special. It is a book you re-read all the time when you are searching for something to remind you that soulmates and happily ever afters do still exist.

engaging and emotional read
An enjoyable, engaging and emotional read. Julianna suffered a terrible loss without any closure, she’s focused on her business the past two years. Harrison is surprised when his daughter tells him about her engagement and his reaction upsets her. To try and make amends he schedules a meeting with one of the top wedding planners not realizing he and the wedding planner had already had an unexpected first meeting.The romance between Julianna and Harrison happens despite either of them really looking for a relationship. Their journey was sweet and poignant, filled emotion and laughter. A very engaging read.

Emotional and heartwarming story about second chances
4.5-stars!Unpredictable by Jenna Hartley is my first read by this author and I loved it. An emotional and touching age-gap romance about grief, letting go and second chances. Though this is part of a series, I did not feel lost and can definitely be read as a standalone, though I am excited to go back and read more!Juliana needs to forget and Harrison is drawn to the woman who seems so lost. They spend one night together full of passion and neither expected to see the other again. Julianna is struggling to move forward. Letting go of her past is harder than she ever imagined and she is not sure if she can ever open her heart again. However, she is stronger than she can knows. Relationships are not in the card for Harrison, ever. He likes his life just as it is now. One of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors and a former athlete, life is good. He loves his daughter more than anything and wants her to be happy and would do anything for her. But imagine his surprise when Juliana is hired to be his daughter’s wedding planner! Can they stay away from each other? Such a great read with all the best feels!Happy reading!
