Some slippage and kinda tight *Updated*
I'm going to preface this review by saying i have baby fine, loose, wavy hair which makes it difficult to find a head piece that won't slip. So, I know these bands are supposed to be tight so that whatever head piece you are wearing is secure but I did get a bit of a headache, after wearing for 8 hours. There is some stretch so it was okay for me but if you consider your head "big", this may be too tight for you.The wear test:I've worn this twice, once with a head wrap and once with a human hair (glueless wig with headband & combs) and I had similar experiences with slippage.*Head wrap* I did notice that this head band gripped the cloth better than some other wig bands I've tried (velvety wig band w/velcro), that can also be bulky and hot. This one is breathable but I did get SOME slippage and had to adjust it a few times.*Wig* 100% Remy, virgin, human hair, 120% density, about 14 in long, body waveMy natural hair isnt very long or thick so I put it in a low bun and then slicked everything back with this wig grip. I didn't use a wig cap, bald cap method or the clips. I have a glueless unit with built in headband so it should stay in place pretty well however, the cap is about one size too large, which causes the hairline and "sideburns" to lift. I ended up using Bold Hold wig tape (which I recommend for a quick and easy install that you don't need to keep for longer than 24-72 hours) to secure the frontal and left the back opened. I noticed when I started sweating, the headband started slipping toward the back of my head which would've caused the unit to move as well, had I not secured it!I went to the bathroom and adjusted it but by the end of the day, I was just ready to take it off. I know that the volume of my hair plays a small role and the size of the wig cap as well because if it's too loose, it won't grip properly so, take these things into consideration when purchasing/ planning how to use it. This band is worth the value but I think I'm going to try the $30 competition and compare them!We ALWAYS want to feel secure, right?*Updated on 5/18/22*I didn't compare to the competitors but I figured out a way to keep it from slipping too much... Dry shampoo and a little hairspray! I use the Kristen Ess Fragrance-Free dry powder so I have not tried it with the spray kind. I imagine it works just as well. Doing this absorbs excess oil and sweat. I hope this helps!

Strong
It’s tight, if you have a larger head, maybe you should try another brand

Like them
I like my wigs, I don't clue and I'm not a huge fan of the combs..I needed something to keep my wig on but not damage my edges. Now I did have to adjust quite a bit because when used together with a wig cap it slides. However after finding a balance it worked. So I would purchase again.

Worked well, but very tight on my head
I bought these to hold my wig in place when wearing a silk cap. I lost my hair during chemotherapy and my scalp was very sensitive so I wore a silk cap but the wig would slip a lot on the silk. I have an average to small head & these were very tight. I put over the too large silk cap to hold both the cap & wig in place. A couple times I got headaches when wearing the wig all day. The band has nubs on both sides, the shorter ones go on your head & the longer ones on the wig. I found I had indentations in both my head and the silk cap underneath. They did the job I bought them for.

Does what it is meant to do
It defiantly works but it ends up making my head hurt so bad and not after that long. I could never wear it all day. Also, I wore a wig cap with mine but if it is positioned anywhere on your natural hair, it pulls it, so every time I turned my head or anything it kept pulling. Does stay in place and is very stretchy, does not stretch out.

Unsecure
This grip does not hold the wig securely at all. The wig slips and slides quite a bit. I wouldn't purchase this product again.

Good grip but tight
These grips work very well but they are quite tight and if you didn't have hair or a lot of hair, the bumps on the front and the back would likely become very painful and leave indents in your scalp. I have a lot of thick hair growing in after chemo and it cushions the grip very well. I've had to wear the grip quite a bit to get it to stretch out enough to be comfortable but I find it fairly pleasant to wear now. And it works great to keep my wigs in place. It's other benefit is it is lighter than a velvet wig grip, those make me too hot and sweat. This one does not.

Good Grip
Finally something that keeps my wig snug. I seem to have a shape of head where nothing stays on it. Headbands and wig caps just roll right off my head. I’m always pulling at my wig and wig cap to keep them on. These actually stay on my head and keep my wig secure.

Very disappointed
Ordered this product and only received 1 grip instead of the 2 as advertised. Contacted Amazon and got no response. Gave it a try and wore it under my wig today. It didn't stay in place.
