Easy and well performing! No issues with dissolving appropriately in our tank and no cloudy water! Single goldfish seemed to like it and kept him fed while on vacation at a low cost! We dropped it in a few days before leaving to make sure it worked appropriately as well.

I have 1 betta fish in a 4 gallon aquarium. I have had to travel for work in the past few months and wanted to ensure he was taken care of. I had read a lot of reviews about making the water cloudy and killing the fish and was apprehensive but willing to give it a shot. The first absence was 3 days, so I split this as it says it can feed 5-6 fish for 3 days. Came back and my fish was alive and well. Have used a full feed for longer duration travel (5+ days) and have had no issues. A tiny bit of residue in tank once dissolved. My fish does eat th food and returns to his normal grub when I am back. I'm really happy with this solution and feel I can be away without concern.

I went on a trip for 3 days. Came home and happy to report all fish are well, no water quality decline happened and there was about 20 percent of feeder still left. I will use this feeder for my next trip. Note that placed the feeder near bubbles, as air stone seemed to have supported the process well. No hassle, no worry, cool!

Was not to messy ease to use good value

I have used different vacation feeders over the years. These were the worst ever! I came home after a week to three tanks of dead fish. It smelled to high heaven, like tooth decay! The tanks that I used a different product in were fine. I think the blocks must be contaminated with some pathogen.

I went on vacation for a week and I use this item to keep my fish fed while I was gone. I suppose that it worked because I came home and my fish was still alive, but I can’t rate this product five stars due to the condition that left my tank in. When I got home, the tank was absolutely disgusting and smelled horrible. The water was extremely cloudy and had a yellow tinge to it. But the worse part was the smell. Absolutely disgusting. I’d buy this again in an emergency situation, but I think going forward I’ll try to find a different way to keep my fish cared for when I go out of town.

I bought this for my fish tank in my classroom. i drop it in the tank on Friday afternoon and it lasts until Monday afternoon. I have a 10 gallon tank with 6 medium to small fish.
