practical design of the hammer and holder that is easy to understand and almost intuitive once you have it ...
A simple, practical design of the hammer and holder that is easy to understand and almost intuitive once you have it in hand. Which is probably exactly how you need it to be should you ever find yourself in the unfortunate event that you actually have to use it. Obviously, I knew I was getting a hammer, but I didn't realize that the other end had a seat belt cutting razor. Which I didn't think would be necessary but makes sense to have she. You realize the scenarios a major car wreck can put you in. The body is simple plastic, but I was encouraged by the sturdiness of the hammer heads and am fully confident that it will do its' intended job in the dreaded event that I might have to use it.

Safety Motivated Purchase
Seems to be well made with sharp hard points on the hammer end. Small enough to fit in the center console but hopefully hefty enough to break side window glass. I hope I never have to find out but after witnessing a rollover and no one (5-6 cars pulled over to help) had anything other than a tire iron to break out the window and a not-sharp pocketknife to cut the seatbelt I decided to buy one each for my wife, daughters, and myself. True, it was a "panic" purchase but I think it was justified.

High quality, just what i need within arms reach while driving
No one wants themselves or a loved one to be in an emergency situation where they will need to cut off their seat belts (or someone else's) and break the glass of their car in order to escape... i don't wish that on anyone, and hopefully it never happens to anyone i love... but hopes don't save lives, which is why i'm so glad i picked up a pair of these from Ammallo! What a great product, it's made from strong materials, lightweight, and will definitely get the job done. Just make sure you install this somewhere easily reached from your seat.

Great tool but fixing instructions could be improved
Great tool and fairly inexpensive for its life saving needs! The instructions on where to mount and HOW to secure it was vague. Use Velcro or tape ... (not supplied, but this not indicated)... one page only (so make a copy if you are giving as a gift on second tool ...And a picture always tells one thousand words... plain packaging (OK i get it) but instructions could have come with better info and pictures.

Seems like a good thing to have in your glove box of your car!

A well made orange thing you never want to use
Received this glass hammer and belt cutter combo tool in a timely fashion, with followup from the boss asking how I like it.It seems well made, fairly priced, certainly orange enough and looks like it could get the job done. Something I hope to never have to find out.No real room to mount it in my Volvo C60 or Chrysler Pacifica, but I'll figure out where to put it eventually.

They appear to be a good tool
My only reason for 3 stars is it tells you to mount the bracket for the tool in your car and where, that is great, but the bracket is not really flush and has a bow in the middle so it won't sit flat. If it should be mounted, a couple of extra cents to include a velcro tab that will attach to your car would have been a good investment by the manufacturer. I will store in center console, but mounting in a visible location would have been a better choice. It should be reachable by driver and front seat passenger. Otherwise as advertised.
