Oxford LK171 Hardcore XC13 HardcoreXC13 Chain Lock, Gold, 1.5M

The weight of the chain means it isn’t practicle to carry in a haversack slung over your shoulder. I didn’t buy it for this purpose but added it incase it was to be used as such. It is solid and the lock style and chain size means that it isn’t going to be easy to cut or break. Ideal as a floor mounted chain wrapped around the frame or swinging arm.

Looks good and look heavy duty, but still my bike got stolen

Insurance approved security, to keep your precious ones from harm. I needed a heavy chain and lock to keep and outside bike safe and secure. What I didn't realise, was half of that security comes form the fact that the chain is taken directly from an aircraft carrier or something. Somewhere in the South Pacific USS Roosevelt is drifting in the wind and no one can work out why. It's because one of your anchor chains is keeping my KTM safe lads. Any nefarious fellas taking an interest in your bike probably won't have the arm strength to lift it! I've married mine to an Oxford Anchor 10 and they seem to be getting along fine. Who knows, maybe the married couple will bear fruits and deliver some baby disk-locks. I live in hope.

The lock and chain appear extremely strong and will deter a thief. It is heavy in weight which should be expected. I would recommend I also bought same chain and lock in 2m length to give that extra length to lock my motorbike to an obstacle or friends machine.

Oxford are the best locks. I've combined it with an alarm disk lock for more protection
