Dipgrips V2 Brackets

The holes are off-center so be sure you get them mounted so the holes are closest to the doorstop. In case you don't know, there is a small space between the door jam and the actual 2X4 behind it. The only problem i had was finding a drill bit long enough to reach the 2X4. Of course, I wanted them level. So I measured and re- measured and then put a 3 foot level across the marks on the frame. But that's just me. very sturdy once you get them in right. And it's not that difficult to do.

It's unfortunate that the designer realized that a more reinforced bracket would improve the product and then decided to charge an additional $20 for everyone who bought the product before this was released. Split my doorframe using the original product, but I do enjoy the design and idea. The reinforced brackets may have prevented my initial issue.

I mounted these up in the doorway by my workout area. They were easy to mount, and they work great! I also bought a second set of amount brackets so that I could melt one set high and one set low. I love these things, they are fantastic! Much better than having a bulky dip rack in the room.

I weigh 235 and they are holding well. Awesome product
