l'm 5"10 with a 32 inch inseam. The cushion is thick and very firm. There is a 7-8 long gap between the end of the cushion and the edge of the seat. Since the cushion is about 2-3 inches thick that is a lot of leg that is unsupported and makes for tired legs. If you have a large backside you may hang off the edges. It is comfortable and if using in your car it will raise you 2 inches. In cars with lower ceilings that might not be a good fit.

It's better than sitting on a hard chair, but it just feels weird to me. The cutout in the back is okay, but the whole thing feels like it's too small and I'm only 5'2", 120 pounds. It feels like it should be a couple inches longer so there's not a big drop off under my legs. Aside from that, it is a well made cushion and it's very soft to touch. But like others have said, the foam is pretty firm.

Bought this for my 86 yr old mother-in-law who has scoliosis. Upon arrival, she tried to open the outer cover to see the foam material inside and the zipper caught on some loose threads inside and then broke when she tried to release it. They do not have replacement covers, but did offer to replace the entire cushion. However, because she can't drive, someone else would have to take it to a UPS drop-off for her, and she just did not want to bother anyone, so ended up pinning it together. So, be careful when removing it for washing.That said, she said it is more comfortable in her chairs, and does help her to sit up straight, so am giving it 4 stars.

I developed a pilonidal cyst that required lancing and draining followed by open wound healing. It had to be repacked with new gauze daily. The whole experience has been incredibly painful with no relief. I ordered this pillow in an attempt to ease the pain. It works better than anything I've tried thus far. My mom opened the box and asked me how much I paid for it, she thought it was very expensive. I only paid $10! Best $10 I've ever spent. If you need a butt pillow for relief of tailbone pain or a pilonidal cyst this is a great purchase.

I wouldn’t say ‘epic comfort’ it’s very firm and a lot thicker then expected. I was hoping to use this in my truck to help with discomfort in my back. The pillow raised me up to high to were it I felt to close to the ceiling in my vehicle and my seats sit down lower then most. To be honest it felt like a booster seat. I had hoped after sitting on it it would have more give, didn’t see any change very firm.

My husband didn't want to give up his old horribly compressed pad, which I threw away when this arrived. He agreed to try this new one for a day. I noticed he never removed the new one, continues to use it, and hadn't complained about pain like he used to. I figured I got my answer, so I didn't mention anything more to him. (I didn't put him through the pain of admitting I was right.)

Really large, as a scrawny dude it's a little over sized for me. The memory foam is very dense, so it definitely takes some breaking in and when you sit on it it is rather hard, but after a couple minutes it softens and molds very nicely and is quite comfortable.

Anyone who tells you "a $300 executive chair is da bomb" is just a person who doesn't sit in a chair 8hrs a day. Cushions like this remove your tailbone as a pressure point. I purchased this one for its thickness and I'm sitting on it right now as I type this review. It's great!
