I have been using the smart Bluetooth helmet now for about a month
I know the reviews on this helmet have been mixed so I thought I'd include my review. I am a recreational cyclist on the weekends and a cycling commuter to work every day. I have been using the smart Bluetooth helmet now for about a month. What I like: most important feature of this helmet for me is the Bluetooth phone option. I'm a physician that takes call therefore I get phone calls I need to answer while I'm commuting and writing recreationally. To be able to answer a phone call on the bike with the Bluetooth helmet is a very positive option for me. No more getting my phone out stumbling with it with one hand and trying to speak while writing with my friends or commuting on a busy road. This feature alone is worth the price of the unit. The other nice option is to use your mapping GPS software on your phone to find the location and allow the Bluetooth speakers to lead you right there. This is as nice as my GPS in my car. I really don't listen to music on the device and I don't have any use for the walkie-talkie functions.Things I can do without: music function again is I think dangerous and distracting. That's my opinion about music and writing. The walkie-talkie function between my colleagues might be useful if everyone had one but that's not the case. I do use the signal light option, but I doubt cars really get it anyway so I still use hand signals and check by turning my head every time. It doesn't hurt having redundancy.I know there have been concerns and comments about durability. So far I have had none as a daily user. The charge on the battery of the helmet lasts about a week and is easy to read charge. The battery on the remote control lasts about a month.Note that when you buy the option on Amazon, mine came with a signal remote as well, my wife also got a signal remote for Christmas for me so now I have two. It's not difficult to switch between two bikes and two signal remotes by simply linking them individually to the cell phone when you hop on the bike. So far I've had no problems with the functionality and durability. No software incompatibilities, but I don't use the mapping and other fitness features on the software.Overall would recommend the product if you want to be a use your phone on Bluetooth and have your GPS map guide you to an address.

Surprisingly nice bluetooth bike helmet!
I was apprehensive about buying this because the reviews weren't stellar, but I took a chance. I wanted a helmet that would allow my wife and I to chit chat on the bike trail. This helmet offered an "intercom" feature, which no other helmet had. The LED lights were also a cool feature. Unfortunately, the intercom feature is lame. You must press the button on the joystick to leave a recording. Then it'll text it to the reciever who must press the message on their phone to listen to the recording. Rather than do that silliness, we just use the bluetooth via helmet + phone and talk to each other like normal people. The sound is impressive on the trail and the mic works very, very well! We just chit chat and warn each other of obstacles or hobos hiding under bridges. If you don't feel like talking then play music from your iTunes and it makes for a pleasant joy ride. You don't really need to use the joystick unless you like to control the music or actually use the left and right blinkers. I took the joystick off because its just extra clutter on my handlebars. If you are used to apps like Strava or Run Keeper to keep track of your ride, then the Livall App is nice and contains many helpful road details. Also, you can simply control the helmet with that app or just use your phone to control music and call people. Last thing, the helmet is very light and fits my head nicely even though it is "one size fits all". I like the padded chin strap as well.24 SEP UPDATE: We bought two, but the battery on this one is defective. It dies unexpectedly. Returning it to Amazon for refund, but will definately get a replacement because we appreciate not hearing wind noise from the mic when we talk.

Great riding helmat
I have had this helmat for about 2 months now. Mine came totally dead I had to charge it for almost a full 8 hours before it would work correctly. The bluetooth works flawlessly. Once it is paired all you do it turn it on and it automatically connects. The sound I found to be just enough where I could still be aware of traffic and noise around me.Comfortable neck strap that does not dig into the bottom of your chin.I found the lights bright during the dark time hours. I really dont use the turn signals but they do work properly.Overall, I am very satisfied with this product so far. Hope it last for a long time.

Nice Helmet
This was a hard item to get working. The micro USB cable was not in the package. I finally found one that would charge the helmet and the Jet Controller. The Livall website is totally nonexistent, however, there is an ios app that works. The instructions say the charging port is under the tail light but on the BH 60 it is in the front by the power button. After solving these issues, I like the helmet and it works well. It is lightweight and comfortable. If you are techie enough to muddle through the issues, I recommend this helmet, but if not it will frustrate you.

Looks nice
This is a very fancy helmet and sure I have gotten lots of compliments because of the lighting but my main reason I bought it is because of the walki talki function but it don’t work as great as I thought. You talk to it and sound don’t get delivered to other people till seconds later which just kills the vibe at that moment!

Functional bike helmet
This helmet serves me well on my daily commutes and moderately long leisure bike rides. I enjoy listening to audiobooks while I ride. The speakers on this helmet work well for that purpose while still allowing me to hear what's around me. It is also reasonably comfortable, although for long rides (over 2 hours), I noticed it tends to get too tight for some reason, but that's probably just me. It is why I gave 4 stars on the comfort category.

Great Helmet
Really like the helmet! Aside from it being very comfortable, I really like the LED turn indicators which helps to make me more visible to traffic. The sound quality of the speakers is actually quite decent.
