PROS* filling for a quick snack (although sometimes I eat 2x)* provides stable energy boost* great for breakfast in lieu of a breakfast sausage* good flavors (favs are “hot & spicy” which is hot flavor for a minute and “thai peanut”)* meaty texture except for “hot & spicy” which has more of a dense textureCONS* packaging is difficult to open (I use a kitchen scissors)* not dry like traditional jerky as it has a sticky coating with the flavor sauce* not travel friendly in my opinion* 24 packs are older (more difficult to chew) than the 12 packs* older stock can be genuinely difficult to chew…. you might have to gnaw at itall that being said….. I love this product. it’s a staple for home snacks.

My favorite vegan jerky! I always buy in bulk and I never get tired of the flavor. It is a great snack to take on the go, I always have some for road trips and camping. Only 99 cal each too!

I keep these in the cubby of my van as a snack for my kids after soccer practice.They love them, as well as the Hickory Smoked flavor!Only thing I wish Primal Spirit would do, is figure out some kind of non-plastic packaging. This wrapper is going to be around a thousand years. Can't even recycle it!

I was not prepared for the slimy condition of this jerky. I am used to Jackie being very dry when unpackaged. This was very different and took some getting used to. But once it was unpackaged and given a few minutes to dry out, it was actually pretty good jerky. Some sweet floral notes came to the surface, which were much appreciated.

I absolutely love this vegan beef jerky. My 15-year-old nephew asked to try one. He thought it was real beef jerky. He couldn’t believe it when he found out it was vegan. I wish this were made in the USA.

Look, I was raised a vegetarian so I’ve only ever eaten this as jerky but this last batch was super close to expiration. Usually they’re a little “juicy” and chewy but it was just tough. I went through a whole pack of floss sticks getting two of them out of my teeth

Try it anyway, I never liked beef jerky before trying this stuff a year ago.16 years ago I would have eaten a raw steak pulled straight from a still-living cow, today I partake in the fine culinary art of critically judging plants and fungi that replicate meat textures.This is *better* than any "real" beef jerky I've ever had.If you like it REALLY tough, go try "pleather",I always order it with the primal spirit stuff.Vegan beef jerky is better than any animal could ever even hope to be.

There's a sampler pack you should try first if you've never had these. They're made from very thin sheets of a squishy sort of protein, so it comes apart like the fibres you'd expect from jerky. It has a characteristic bitterness in the background like you might expect from a processed protein, and some people don't like the squishiness or slipperiness of it, so you're best off trying the sample pack first.That said, I really enjoy these ones because they're not too hard (the wheat ones are softer than the soy ones), and have that fibre to them that I couldn't find in other vegan products.

The texture and flavor is quite remarkable.As a vegetarian, I haven't had jerky in over a decade. Now I can't stop eating these, so good. A little heavy on the salt, but the taste is phenomenal.

Just as good as the bbq. I order this whenever I have the extra money. Great value for cost

I love these normally but this batch tastes like wet napkins dipped in soy sauce. I hate to leave a negative review about for this jerky but its nothing like the normal quality I've been buying. extremely disappointed as this item is not returnable.
