Doesn't fit bike
I ordered this for my son's mountain bike hoping it would fit since that's what it was for. I was wrong it doesn't fit so now he doesn't have brakes on his bike as he already took the old ones off and tossed them.

Absolute plastic garbage
These broke in less than a week. This is total no-name plastic trash. Not worth anyones time. A complete waste of money. Now I need to buy new brakes again. This time wont cheap out.

Some parts good...
I needed this product for multiple reasons... broken brake handle, destroyed brake cable and flat inner tube. So I was excited to get a complete kit to handle it all.The good: the brake handles fir perfect. Although it uses a smaller size allen key than usual for all brakes. The brake cable is exactly the right length. (Hint... don't mess up!)The bad: the tool is trash! First use to loosen a brake cable nut and it bent the tool. SUPER CHEAP CHINA TOOL! The patch kit came with 6 patches, I used all 6 just to seal an inner tube. They do not seal!If you are in need of a brake handle or a brake cable, get this. If you need anything else in this kit... look elsewhere.

Decent for the price
There are definitely better brakes out there, these ones work for the average rider, the handles are a little shaky but as long as you tighten the brakes right it doesn’t affect them much really. They will stop your bike and that’s what I bought them forUpdate, while tightening they freakin snapped, cheap pieces of crap, I mean like the actual metal bracket snapped, don’t buy

a cheap complete replacement kit, you get what you pay for... avoid if possible
Pros: you get everything you need to replace your brakesCons: very cheap quality. One of the brake pads arrived broken, and you can feel the pads will quickly wear out. One of the brake arms seemed damaged too. The front cable sheath was too long, it is impossible to install it without cutting part of the sheath (while the cable was of an appropriate length)Overall, it kind of works, but I'm not feeling very safe if I need to brake quickly. Would definitely not recommend.

Extremely cheap
Cheap construction, cheap materials, if you install this on a bike, make sure the bike is put to little or no use. Good for repairing your friends bikes when they say they use it more than once a year but you know they dont. This product will stop the bike safely, it will just wear down extremely fast.

Good Deal
I've volunteered as a bike mechanic and have been fixing my own bike for ten years, so as someone who finds fixing brakes and changing housing to be routine tasks (some of the negative reviews sound like they may be from lack of experience), these had no issues. I bought these for the brake arms (the spring in my old one had broken), but I got the set that came with brake cables and housing too because it's only a few dollars more than just getting brake arms on their own, which I think is a great deal. Also love that it comes with (metal) brake elbows - I usually reuse those and the brake cables a second time for every housing repair, but needed new ones this time.Note that these are plastic rather than metal brake arms, which I didn't realize. I've only had metal ones before, but these don't seem to be wearing out faster because of the weaker material, and it'll be easier to stay on top of rust, so I don't have any concerns about that at the moment. (Apparently plastic is being used for vehicle parts more too now.) Took maybe 30min to change one brake arm set at a leisurely pace.Recommended.
