Western starring James Stewart and Maureen O'Hara, based on real-life events that took place in the 1880s when Hereford cattle were first introduced to the American West. Martha Price (O'Hara) and her daughter Hilary (Juliet Mills) enlist the help of Sam 'Bulldog' Burnett (Stewart), a wandering ranch hand, to carry out the dream of Martha's late husband who died en route to America. His dream was to introduce Hereford cattle by transporting a lone bull, Vindicator, to Texas to breed it with longhorn cattle. Martha, Hilary and Sam set out on the road to Texas with the bull, but the trail is fraught with dangers and Sam has to rescue the women from a series of Western-style ambushes and abductions.

Good packaging and good price. A lovely story. Arrived in good condition and has been watched many times. Recommended highly.

Learn To love A Bull
The Bull's called Vindicator and he's the real star of the film. A great original Western about the introduction of a new breed of cattle into America and the troubles and adventures that brings. The film doen't overly focus on violence like alot of Westerns, although there is a very well staged action scene mid way through. If you like James Stewart and classic westerns you'll love this film and learn to love a bull.

Here in an different kind of western about Hereford cattle. O'Hare is very good too as usual.

James Stewart and Maureen O'Hara - what a combination. A good yarn but I won't spoil your fun by telling you what it's all about. But it is not a typical western.

Funny and Loving
This movie has you laughing as well as tearing occasionally. There are tender moments in the movie that you will enjoy. I love Maureen O'Hara and her performance is just as amazing as her other movies.

Always enjoy a good Jimmy Stewart and Maureen O'Hara movie. This one brought back fond memories. Arrived quickly and in excellent condition.

I love polled hereford cattle. If you do you have to get this movie! It is a keeper.
I said about all you need to know in the headline. I love hereford cattle. This movie is the story of how one group of hereford cattle got started in America. It is great. It also has Kirk Douglas and Jimmy Stewart in it.I would recommend to any child or adult that has a love for cattle to watch this movie. I hunt cattle movies and there is not a lot out there. The Grand Champion is a good one for kids of all ages. Bruce Willis and Julia Roberts are in it. Then with Christmas coming my 17 year old granddaughter would tell you that you can't miss Annebelle's Wish. She and I have watched it for 17 years together.
