Q: How much do they shrink after washing?

They didn't shrink after washing, but they do run small in general.

Dear Customer This is straights Tube socks and well stay up thru out the day wearing.

Q: Do these fit better in a smaller size? I ordered the biggest ones, but they are sooo long! Past my knees.

These socks tend to run kind of small. If you wear a men’s size 11 shoe like I do you would be well advised to order size 13-15 in these socks. Keep in mind these will shrink slightly so if they fit somewhat snug they’ll stretch out a bit over time. Also if you have had lower back surgery recently they may feel snug as well. If you wind up having socks that fit a bit tight don’t worry. Amazon is great about their return policy. Just make sure to try them on as soon as you get them. Good luck. I think you’ll be satisfied with your purchase.
