We have neighbors who insist on chain smoking cigarettes at the front of their home and the smell drifts inside our house. I had previously purchased this candle and it clearly defeated the smell of the neighbors' cigarettes. The candle produces an excellent aroma which is not too strong yet pleasant! I recently purchased two more candles and my wife and I can enjoy our home, instead of smelling an ashtray.

This candle was a pretty good value overall for the price. The scent is good, but artificial. That's too be expected as fine fragrances are expensive and all-natural fragrances don't project or last long. "Sage & Citrus" was woodsy and herbaceous. Didn't really catch a fruity or citrusy scent, more of a marine note. Overall masculine or unisex and crisp.You get a fair amount of pure soy wax in a sturdy glass jar with a metal lid. However, the one I received, the wick was set off-center, which means that the candle burns unevenly and it does cause it to burn faster and waste a bit of wax, compared to a candle that has been properly made with the wick in the middle/center of the cylinder. You can't do anything about this short of melting and remaking the entire candle and that's not worth the time.I would give it 5-stars if the wick had been properly centered. I might buy this brand/type of candle again, but if I got several with off-center wicks, I would stop for poor quality-control and find a different brand.

Scent is very personal. I adore Nika's Candles and have about 8 scents. This is not my favorite. You might like it. I like the SOY aspect of these candles, and the price point is ok if you subscribe.

I love the scent and how it fills the room - but not too strong - just right. It’s a great value for the $. The scent is also true to the label. I would highly recommend these candle. Very natural and that’s important to me!!

Arrived when promised and the smell is light, clean and very pleasant. I will order again.

This candle does not burn like a soy candle; the wax does not melt to a liquid as soy candles do, and soon I won't be able to light it because the wick is burning down into the container while the wax stays on the sides in solid form. The scent is fine, but definitely not as crisp as a true soy candle.

Citrus is my favorire scent.the smell is strong but that works for me since i just leave it on for 10 minutes or so. Burns evenly, there is no waste

This might be my new favorite brand of candles! I have heard great things about soy candles and how long lasting they are and wanted to give one a try. I have been a die hard Yankee Candle girl for years because I love their scents and think they make a quality candle. The NIKA home candle seems to burn longer than Yankee Candles and hasn’t lost its scent over time. The candles are smaller than I normally get, 12oz, but since they last longer than any other candle I have purchased the size doesn't matter. I highly recommend the Sage and Citrus and the Hawaiian Lava!
