Rubbermaid Commercial Q410 HYGEN Microfiber Room Mop Pad, Damp, Single-Sided, 18-Inch, (Pack of 3) (Red)

I work in a hospital and noticed these mops that the housekeeping staff were using. It seemed pretty convenient, so I decided to give them a try. The initial purchase price may seem steep, but ultimately it is worth it if you like to have clean floors. We switched from using a “spaghetti” type mop head to this and we will never look back. I just place several in a bucket with my cleaning solution, wring it out lightly and drop it on the floor. The Velcro mop head picks it up and off I go, mopping the floors easily! When the mop head becomes dirty, I switch it out for another. This is the best part, you’re not mopping over the next area with a nasty, dirty mop!!! After you are finished mopping, they go into the washer and dryer until the next time! You can also you bleach in the washer, although this will decrease their useful life.

Did excellent job. We actually found out about them while visiting a family member in the hospital. When observing out easy the whole mop system was to use we asked the janitorial staff who made them and how they liked using them. Each response was "we love it!" We were told they were so much more efficient then the old fashioned string mop and bucket. In our home we have mostly stone tile and this mop system made cleaning the floor so easy. Recommend buying the Rubbermaid Commercial quick-connect straight handle and the Rubbermaid commercial Hygen Quick connect blade that holds these mop heads. We ended up buying a long rectangular bucket to hold the water and cleaning solution. It accommodates the 18" blade perfectly. As to cleaning the mop heads we have run them through the washer and just let them air dry.

I ran a one person cleaning company in a commercial setting and switching to a flatmop system saved a lot of time. Do keep in mind that you need to rotate mops throughout the week to keep a clean head and wash at the end of the week. These mops benefit from placing your solution on the floors before starting. They don't need wringing out if you saturate the floor correctly before hand. I used a one gallon jug to toss solution on the floors before mopping. They do a much better job at cleaning floors, and can make mopping much faster. You may need to press into the floor with more pressure since the mop heads are so lightweight. Still better on the ergonomic side of things I think. Bigger jobs may require the use of a specialized rinsing bucket.

I saw these being used when I was in the hospital and they made it seem so easy to do the floors so I ordered the whole set and have to say I really like these over anything I've used before. I like that they are velcro and I don't have to pick it up to attach it to the base. Works great. I have wood floors and usually lightly spray and then go over them with this.

My Daughter in Law and niece both use these in their businesses. They wash pads daily in a washer and their supplies have lasted years. That was enough of a recommendation to buy the name brand.

3 pads = 10 minutes to mop: 1st for sweeping up dust. 2nd (damp) to actually mop. 3rd to dry the floor! Then wash them all in DARN HOT WATER.

These are just as promised and have worked great for me. Easy to attach to the velcro and then toss in the wash.

Love these! The Rubbermaid flat mop works so much better than any other mop I've tried. I hate mopping the floor, but this makes the job a little less miserable. I throw them in with my whites and bleach them, although probably not supposed to. Hate smelly rags/towels/etc.
