Bowl works well with keeping the water cold for your fur baby even after 12 hours.However, my bowl started leaking the gel crystals at the bottom after several weeks. It's leaking on a daily basis enough so the water needs to be refilled inside the bowl almost on a daily basis.This product could've easily received a 5 star rating for its ingenuity, lack of need for a battery, but the poor engineering on the bottom of the bowl ultimately was its Achilles' paw. Err, heel.

My wife wanted something like this so I went and researched the category and decided it was a dumb thing to buy and nothing would really work but she insisted so I decided on this one and I am honestly surprised to resort how good it really is. Just note that you do have to read the instructions to ACTIVATE the gel inside. My wife would never have known to do this is I had not mentioned it and looked up how to do it with her and then it would not have worked. During the hottest July ever (just read that online) the bowl did a great job.

I bought same water bowl 2 years ago. It is an outside water bowl and has held up great. New one has change the lip surface size but hopefully that's all that has changed.

Does not stay cool no longer than 2 hours in the direct sun. I have an outside dog and was hoping this would work for her but no. I would not recommend, but it might stay cooler longer if indoors. The whole idea seems like it’s for outside use though bc the water will just stay cool in a regular dog bowl in the house. It’s basically an icepack in the bottom of the bowl and icepacks melt in direct sun fairly quickly, just as this bowls lining does so therefor it does not keep the water cool long.

This item is too big for what I needed, but that was my mistake. The product is exactly as listed and looks like it will work just fine. It has some weight to it, so will be great outside.

We live in Arizona. So currently the weather is between 96 and 102. It stays cool but not cold for about 5 hours of the day

It’s hard to get bottom stopper off. I asked my house to help. I’ve used it several times already.

It’s fine if you are willing to regularly put it in the freezer.

Aucune instructions dans la boite, j’ai fait attention de ne pa strop remplir d’eau, mais malheureusement le bol s’est déformé lorsque la glace s’est formée. Très déçue au prix que j’ai payé!
