I’ve done several of these treatments now and the results are always amazing. I’ve frizzy, coarse hair that I need to straighten daily and the slightest bit of rain or humidity and it’s back to Brillo pad hair. I can sweat in the gym, get it slightly damp in rain and it holds sleek with this. It also cuts drying and styling time In half once done but be prepared to spend 3-5 hrs doing the treatment.Tips for newbies. After you have used the pre treatment shampoo don’t try and comb your hair. Just dry it with the hair dryer and get the brush on the ends first to gently pull as it dries working upwards. Don’t use tension on the brush until the hair is almost dry and the knots should just slip out gently. Get hair bone dry before applying treatment.Make sure to cover all the hair with the treatment, pin your hair up and work from the bottom up. Use a bin bag with a hole for your head to protect your skin as it can irritate. I always treat to the root as I’m messy and find it’s ok on the scalp. Brush it through at the end and smooth it all down. I cut drying time by 2 hrs by removing as much product as possible with a fine comb before starting drying.Drying is a long process, leave all your windows open and sit by the window as a lot of smoke from the drying product occurs and your family and pets won’t be pleased with you. I take a couple of tea breaks in between section drying. Don’t worry it will eventually dry but it takes forever. If you’ve got weak arms consider mounting your hairdryer on something to ease the work on your arms. Straighten after drying and take small sections, time spent doing this properly will get longer lasting results. Finally the final wash arrives and you have to buckle in for yet another session with the hairdryer that’s now on its knees and hates you. It should dry quickly and you should be very happy with the results. The smell goes after a couple of washes. Don’t re dye your hair for at least 10 days as it can be patchy if you are going dark. I’ve used the blonde for the first time today so far so good regarding colour staying the same. Definitely purchase the after care kit as this makes it last longer and you’ll not want to do this again for a while. It’s a hard process but nothing makes my hair feel as soft and as easy to manage as this. Love the results and have used several times now.

This did not fully straighten my hair like lots of other reviewers have mentioned, although I followed the process to the T. I was however impressed about the smoothness it added to my hair as that lasted for a good 3 months. The whole process takes about 3 hours, depending on how much and long your hair is and also, be ready for the smoke when you iron the hair after applying the cream. Better to open a window while doing that bit.
