I don't know how much temperature the polymer clay can withstand after hardening. And although it's nontoxic,I wouldn't expose too much of it to food. So if the repair is for an area that doesn't touch food, you should be fine. I have used this product on many things from crafts, cabinets, china to shoes & it is the best. However, trying to replace a metal handle into a plastic receptacle was not so easy it held but not firmly.

The manufacture states the ingredient name is: toluene There are no specific instructions listed on how to thin it, so I would say that is not suggestible.

Q: Will this work on epo foam, or will this melt epo foam? (i'm repairing an rc plane.)

It is solvent based and will melt EPO foam. However, it is one of the best glues to use on EPP foam. It's only downside is that it does not hold up well to UV rays.
