the service and response time is the worst I have ever seen
I could not properly mount the console to the machine because of a bad mounting bracketThe console will never shut down or go to sleep despite the documentation saying it doesthe iphone holder was not included with the shipmentto this point (2 weeks later) they have not responded chats, or emails. And their virtualbot does not ask or allow the actual question or issue to be addressed. So dont believe it when their documentation says they will answer your questions. I had a proform HIIT from 5 years ago and if the bearing were not wore out I would go back to that in a heartbeat. They had service then

Support Sucks
After a day of use, the 14” monitor did a software update and ceased to work after that. Tried to contact proform support but never got a real person. Tried to contact iFIT support but never a real person and the computer said my number was not registered to machine or that the machine was even registered. In which we did as soon as it powered up. So gamble with this machine if you want no support or person to speak with as soon as it breaks down.

tech is FILLED with issues
I just tried using this thing again. The screen was blank after having used it yesterday... power cycled it... then fought with the wifi for 25 min before I ran out of time to get an actual workout in.... again. So instead I came to give a review.Let me begin with this. I've had this heavy piece of garbage for over a year. I've start-stopped with this thing several times, and let me tell you why. It's technology that they praise it for, doesn't work, and it is so terrible that it actually discourages me from exercise. What's better than a workout? A workout when you're GD FURIOUS after fighting with the technology for 30 minuts.Anything that costs over $1500 and is this simple should. just. work. I bought a roomba for $700 and that thing uses freaking lasers and radar to drive itself around my house cleaning, empties itself, charges itself, and doesn't kill itself on the stairs. The HIIT is supposed to just let you "peddle" it and change resistance in time with a pre-recorded workout video... that's it. This damned HIIT literally needs to be rebooted every day...If you love fighting with the wifi connection, garbage customer support, and a clunky "workout selection app" then BOY DO I HAVE THE MACHINE FOR YOU!! I have maybe made it through mmmmaybe 5 workouts where this thing didn't drop connection, end the workout, and force you to start over. Which is a MAJOR deterrent for anybody like me who got this to help get/stay healthy.Nothing like hopping on a elliptical getting in a good warm- then seeing the "wifi disconnected" symbol pop up and end your workout. 20 min later after you finally reset the thing you can start working out... for about 10 min, then DO IT AGAIN. weeeeeee! What. A. DEAL!!Maybe customer service can help?... Guess again! I won't even describe my 2 experiences with them. Suffice it to say, they are awful. Flat. Out. Awful. But hey. I'll deal. I'll put the damned thing 10 feet away from my router... and still have it just drop wifi whenever. But at least I get a year's worth of free iFIT workouts and training. Which is worth its weight in horse manure. You just assembled the thing, fought the wi-fi, updated the software, set up your account, reconnected the wi-fi, unplugged and plugged it back in, signed back in, and now you're at the home screen and ready to hop on and get one of these awesome high tech workouts in.Guess again sucker!! Well let me tell you that this interface is the clunkiest GD thing I've ever seen... on anything. TPiloting the f-ing space shuttle is more intuitive than this. Just try to find a workout designed for your brand new shiny HIIT elliptical... well good luck. Think you can search for HIIT? nope. Think it'd just offer up a few workouts designed for the equipment that it... is? nu-uh. After about 30 min of going through search filters that were hap-hazardly slapped together, you'll likely just give up and select a run/walk that was designed for one of their treadmills... and it'll change resistance WILDLY during this treadmill walk/run exercise because... well it's NOT a treadmill. But "Whatever" you tell yourself, "I got this thing for a workout, not for the screen, or the fancy workout." though you actually DID pay for them both. "And ultimately as long as it still works as a elliptical it's ok."... and then the wifi shuts down again, and you have to unplug and plug it back in, and decide "F-it. I'll start tomorrow."Good luck if you get this thing. If yours works, great and good for you. Mine was a total piece of garbage right out of the gate. They refused to switch it out, they refused to address any issues. They basically told me to get f-d and sent me on my merry way. They do NOT stand by their product.I'd give it negative stars if I could.

Machine Flimsy, Customer Support Non-existent, iFit Renwal $700!!
I was hoping to like this machine as I despise treadmill workouts and learned elliptical machines are terrible for your back. Tried calling to activate and couldn't get through (on hold until a message came on saying they were currently closed and to call back tomorrow). Called back and was on hold a solid 40 minutes and had to take another call (during work) and came back and they hung up. Back into the cue.....fast forward another hour and 10 minutes, finally get someone and activated my machine, they try and hard sell you the upgrades like extended warranties and multi year iFit subscriptions. Had an issue with the machine creaking (sounded like a dying frog) tried calling for service and was never able to get through. In desperation, I sent ProForm an email and 3 days later, got a response asking for a ton of details including the serial number, original receipt and last 4 of the credit card number I used to purchase (strange indeed). ProForm puts the serial number on THE BOTTOM of the machine so i had to get someone to team lift and took a picture. 3 weeks, a "technician" comes out (hooray.....or so I thought), he has me duplicate the issue (squeek) and tells me, "just be grateful it still works, these are not gym grade machines and intended for occasional workouts. I would have to take this machine completely apart to find that squeek and my next appointment is over an hour drive" If my wife wasn't there with me, I wouldn't believe that he just said that and completely blew me off! I tried calling ProForm and gave up after 2 hours and sent them another email. This was several months ago and still have not heard from them. Trying to dispute the charge for the extended warranty. NOT good!
