I almost didn't order this shirt due to a couple of negative reviews, but then it went on sale for $20 so I figured, why not? I'm glad I did. It's a nice shirt, very cool and comfortable, and I love that the print is reversed so that it has a more casual, washed-out look and resembles printed linen. I also appreciate a shirt pocket - but just one, not two, so this is my style!Some other reviewers knocked it because they said it wrinkled too bad, but I took it out of the dryer at the end of the cycle, while it was still slightly warm (tumble dry on low to avoid shrinkage) and put it on a hanger, and it looks fine. It has a slight wrinkle/pucker finish, like linen would, which adds to the casual, comfortable appearance. The placket, collar, and pocket were not mashed or wadded but all lay nice and flat like they should. If you leave it sit in a wad in the dryer for a few hours after it's done, all bets are off.About my only complaint is that the torso could be a bit longer - but I'm 6'3" tall, so I run into that when I can't order tall sizes. It has traditional looking shirt tails but they can be worn out rather than tucked and it still looks good. For me, it may gap a bit when I bend, and would likely not stay tucked if I chose that style, because the tails are not long, but I can live with it.

Looks nice, feels good. I could have maybe gone a size down, but I wanted to be absolutely certain I would not feel the slightest bit restricted or uncovered. Ladies complimented the color and pattern.

I give this shirt a neutral review with no recommendation one way or the other. On the plus side, the patterns are very attractive, but one of those I ordered was darker than in the photo. The fabric is the lightest I’ve ever owned, which you could call flimsy, however on the beach or in a hot climate the lightness might be a plus.The sheerness of the fabric would be complimentary if you’re young with a good physique, and a strong negative if you’re a bit overweight, or if you have some physical attributes you’d prefer to have your clothing deemphasize. I would have preferred a more substantial fabric even at a higher price because I like the patterns.An XXL size weighs 163 grams (about 5.5 ounces), so it would be light for travel to warm climates.On the negative side, the shirt shrinks at least a full size in the wash, even when washed in cold water. The wash instructions specify “wash in cold water” and “line dry” to retard shrinkage. My wife does the wash and is a busy woman who isn’t going to wash this shirt apart from all the others, or line dry it, period. If it doesn’t go in the normal wash and “delicates” dryer cycle, it isn’t going to get washed unless I do it myself, which isn’t likelyThe fabric puckers after a wash and dry, which also effectively makes it fit smaller than anticipated.The shirt I washed had threads hanging off it in a few places, which drew my attention to the stitching. The stitching is not the best, but it’s okay for a cheap beach shirt. I don’t expect the shirt will last long.

Good men's shirts like this are hard to find in the USA...... I like shirts that are suitable for work or play...... Shirts that do not scream "beach boy" nor "stick up the A"....... Shirts that are not T-shirts and have a pocket for a pen...... Bruce Campbell wore many good designs on "Burn Notice" ......and many countries have many more great designs....... but they are not easy to find on Amazon...... In fact even in the Oscars there is every style for women but for men only black penguins or white penguins...... Otherwise it is mostly "tie-die" or "beach party" shirts....... And the best I can find on Amazon are a "tropical frond" pattern by "28 Palms"..... a "bamboo" pattern by "Jamaica Jaxx"...... And "leaf" patterns by Vatpave and Coofandy....... And I have found some much better designs but always 100% polyester i.e. hot in hot weather and cold in cold weather......... And only this Vatpave shirt is super-thin super-cool for the hottest days....... It is 70% cotton 30% viscose-rayon....... Rayon lasts longer and is almost as cool as cotton and tends not to show the wrinkes........... but 100% rayon aka viscose tends to be floppy....... This shirt is an excellent mix....... Not floppy but not easily wrinkled...... Very cool but hopefully long-lasting if you don't rough it up and don't wear it in cooler weather....... For less hot days get some of the sturdy linen leaf-design shirts made by "Coofandy.".... And PS..... These are also good choices if you like a super-comfortable pajama or night shirt--and yet--can look very dignified first thing in the morning without necessarily needing to "get dressed." Goes well with polyester shorts in summer or fleece "yoga pants" in winter.

I bought this shirt for my husband. I liked it; when I showed it to my husband, he hated it. I bought it anyway. When it arrived, I gave it to him. He wasn't too thrilled but tried it on. His face was priceless as you could see the change! He loved it! The fit, the material and how sharp it looked on him. This is really a nice looking shirt and It looks even better in person. The material looks rich and feels great on his skin. This shirt can be casual or dressy. He has gotten so many compliments on this shirt. He loves it so much that we ordered all the others! My son is 6’2” but only 150lbs and this was snug and when he lifted his arms his entire stomach showed. Nice though if you buy a size up. Material wrinkles easily too.
