The product box for this item is delicate and easily smushed in transit, but the silicone strips inside are enthusiastically endorsed by our dermatologist. I took a couple stars off for ease of use, because if you need to use part of a strip, it can be nearly impossible to remove the backing to apply it, and once you get the backing off, you need the skills of a magician to keep it from sticking to itself. (It's very thin, and it has a strong adhesive on it.) Once it's on the scar, I believe it helps the healing process. As long as your doctor(s) approve; it doesn't seem to be harmful, and it probably helps.

A clear coverage that helps heal scars. My only BUT is it’s hard to get the clear film off the paper and onto my skin…it sticks easily to itself. That said, the skin that was smoothly covered by the film has healed faster, with less redness than skin that wasn’t has smoothly covered.Would I get it again, YES!

I have bough this product to help fix my scars from a really bad poison ivy case and unlike what the dermatologists said I didn't need laser surgery to correct scarring. I love the cream version and the patches

Works fine, but at this price It would be nice to have "fold backs" for easier application- like modern band aids have. You peel off the backing and it immediately rolls up on itself and sticks to itself before you can apply it. Call it the band aid ftom Heck.

Not sure why these are highly rated. They don’t peel off the wrapper well and as a result the sticky part is left behind. They do not stay well, partially because of the previous stated issue but also even when they do seem to peel off correctly they still don’t stick. Wore once to bed and they were displaced by morning. Another day tried putting them on in the morning and by the afternoon they were peeling off again. Sad because my surgery scar looks terrible and I’m feeling really self conscious about it and was hoping these would help :(Update: my second try was better but it did cause some irritation around the scar/sides of the tape. It also left a sticky residue too.

These scar away patches are excellent. My scar was cleared up in a couple weeks. I am very impressed with these.

The media could not be loaded. You can wear each one for up to ten days. They are about 3 inches long by 1 and 1/4 inches wide. Pamphlet says you can wear them 1-2 weeks after stitches are removed. I found these in my own. I wish my surgeon would have told me about them. It says you can wear each one for ten days. You can cut them if you have a smaller scar or use multiple ones if you have a longer scar. My scar is old so I will have to use these for over 90 days . My scar is pretty small so one strip for me can be cut into four pieces. Since my scar is on my forehead I will peal it in the morning, but I will try to reuse them since it says it can last for 10 days. Obviously, it might dry out, so I will try to put the label back on and put it in a ziplock bag to try to conserve the moisture of the silicone. So far this sheet is holding very well in place like a sticker. Based on you tube, the sheets work better the gel due to the sheets applying pressure on the scar. I hope they work.Other reviews complained that they are not so water proof, so if you are planning on showering with them you might have to come up with creative ideas about how to keep them dry.
