Bodhi Sees the World: Thailand

Beautiful and relatable!
Bodhi Sees the World is tremendous! I bought it for my almost three year old as she adores the other childrens book my Marisa Aragon Ware, Where’s Buddha. I thought she may be a little young for the book but this was not the case. She loves the story, looking at the beautiful pictures and the seek and find! I imagine as she grows, she will understand the concepts on a deeper level. I highly recommend this book for anyone with kiddos in their lives to help them understand that although we may be different, we are all part of the same planet and have the same intrinsic needs:)

Beautiful illustrations
Wonderful story about cultural experiences and travel for kids with great illustration. I appreciated the details about Thailand and Buddhism to make it a great way to learn something new.

Beautiful and Inspiring
Okay first of all, the illustrations in this story are incredible -- intricately detailed and richly colorful (not to mention the fact that they actually accurately depict Thai culture and landscapes -- it's clear the illustrator did her research). Then the story is wonderfully gentle, swooning the reader into a Thai adventure. It makes you want to travel!Serioulsy, do yourself a favor and add this to your kids book collection -- your kids won't be disappointed.

Good Illustrations
I liked the simplicity and visuals of this book. The storyline was hard to follow since it jumps right into Thailand, but otherwise, the book was good.

Loved this book!
I really enjoyed the vibrant illustrations and found the story to be sweet and heartwarming while also having a lot of educational information about Thailand and its culture.

Another beautifully written and illustrated book from this very talented artist and author.
This is the kind of book that will age very well with our child. For now at the age of 1, he’s loving the brilliant colours, sounds of a foreign language and the many rich scenes on each page; over time we look forward to him beginning to grasp some of the other concepts central to Bodhi’s overseas travels and her transformative and grounding experience inside the temple.
