Lomo Kayak and SUP Deck - Roll Closure Dry Bag

Used as a tail bag on a trail bike.The bag has straps attached so attaching to a bike is quite easy. If the straps had a bit of elastic like a Roc strap, that would make this bag even better.Usual Lomo quality for a sensible price.

Does what it says on the tin. No nonsense deck bag.Easy to fit.

Used on a cross country kayak trip. Attached to the boat easily. Kept stuff very dry even in heavy rain storms.

I am one of those annoying "Lifeboat botherer" Stand up Paddleboarders. I like to make sure I have all the right gear even if I've no idea. I've been using Lomo drybags for a long time now, some are still going strong years later so there was only one choice for me when I was looking for a deck board for my SUP, it had to be Lomo. They did not disappoint.It's large enough to put my bits and bobs in but not so large it's in the way, it clips easily to my board (I added some paracord loops to the board to make it even easier), I put a 1 Litres Nalgene bottle in one of the pockets for easy access, it's like it was made for this purpose, it's a perfect fit. The other pocket has my VHF radio and Inreach device so they're roomy but under enough tension to hold it all securely. I've not had any issues with water penetrating the bag when I have performed a rapid tactical water entry and the board has positioned itself for a fin inspection (definitely not fallen off and flipped the board).The only thing I would recommend getting this bag new is go stick it in the bath and give it a good rinse, my bag was a little bit slimy when it got wet making the surrounding area and my paddle slippy but it's washed away now so not the worse thing in the world. I will also be making a slight alteration to be able to magnetically attach an all round white light to the top of the bag to comply with regs when I'm on/in the sea.It works really well on a SUP in my opinion but I bet it's also very handy for kayakers.

I used this for a weekend trip kayaking on the River Wye. Weather was fine so it wasn’t really put under extreme wet conditions (a small amount of white water coming over the kayak) but the kit in the dry bag came out dry. With some efficient packing I managed to get my clothes, wash.bag, microfibre towel and snacks for the 2 days in the bag and a couple of water bottles on the sides. I did make sure that I rolled the top as far as I could before buckling it up. It seemed to keep the air in it. The straps held it firmly on the bungee straps on the back of my kayak. I think that the bungee cords on the kayak would fail before the straps on the bag. I didn’t roll the kayak so can’t say how it would perform if it was totally submerged. Very pleased and looking forward to using it on my next adventure.

Bought to put on the front of the SUP's. worked well, the strap system for fixing mean quick fitting/removal.still able to access inside the bag with it attached, so that is a win. handy couple of pockets on the outside as well.so far, no issues, no leaks. works great.
