I like the product, I have used it for several years. I covers the gray.

I actually like this product very much and recommend it.BUT not through Atharva Products. The second time I used it, it was already cracked and drying out. I contacted Atharva Products and did not hear back from them. I contacted the company that produces this product and heard back from then right away. They told me that Atharva Products is not one of their distributors and they don't know where they get their product from.They suggested for the drying out to add a drop of "essential oil" and use brush to work it into the product. There are many essential oils and I didn't feel that this was what they meant. I used a carrier oil that I use with my essential oils, fractionated coconut oil. I just used the tip of my finger and worked it into the product. It was good to use after that.Side note: I use the eyebrow brush they give you to apply my Mac blitz and glitz eyeliner. I think it works better than the brush Mac sells and last a lot longer and is free with this product. The Mac brush sell for around $20.

Mimic goes on a bit 'waxy' which is why I love it. It doesn't look 'waxy' but it STAYS put once you apply it to your roots. It doesn't weigh down hair, come off on pillows, or color your scalp. It goes where you want it, stays where you put it, and blends to the point that I can't tell where I applied it. I've used Mimic for several years with hard-to-cover gray (white hair, really) and although at times I've been cajoled into trying other products I always return and am always exceedingly glad I did. I should carry extras in my purse to share because if someone's going to take time to color her or his graying hair, then the roots should never be a give-away! Did I mention I LOVE MIMIC?!

I was skeptical even after reading all of the glowing reviews of this product. After all, I already had a drawer full of root touch-up crayons, sprays, and powders that are either too sticky, gummy, messy, or itchy. But after watching a video on HSN, I was intrigued and decided it was worth a try. I have to say that it is truly AMAZING! At first it seems like the product is not covering, but I remembered the video said a few strokes in each area might be necessary. It is a bit time consuming to apply, but it looks natural, really does cover my grey roots, and it stays until I shampoo it out. Best of all, it doesn't make my hair feel gummy or any of the negatives with other products I have tried. I'm sold and would highly recommend it if you need something to use to extend time between colorings.

Have used Mimic for years. It works well to cover roots when I can't get to the salon. I use it every day to fill in my eyebrows - which are thinning with age, fun. The brushes included are nice quality. This stuff lasts forever! And it really does last on my roots until I wash it out - which for me can be days. The dark brown color blends with my dark brown with red base and highlights hair. It's a nice shade of brown - not too yellow.

I have used a different powdered product in the past but, the coverage didn't stay all day. So when I found Mimic I thought I'd give it a try. Lucky for me I did! The dark brown is a perfect match for my hair color and because of what it's made of, it adheres and blends much, much better. It lasts a lot longer than my prior product.

Great idea, seems like this would really work best on blondes (in their shade!) This does make ones hair look a little fuller, But when it comes to "covering" the grey it's a little short. It doesn't "grab" the grey so it's hard to actually "cover" the grey haiirs without over using the product in that area of your head (especially in the temple/ face area), then you make yourself look painted and unnatural. Not a bad product, it is waterproof and is truly great on brows, this is best in combination with a mascara type in-between color product.

First, I like the natural looking color of the hair product. It blends well and it is not opaque like other similar products, which look fake. However, it is not that easy to cover grey hair roots with it, which is why I bought it. It is waxy and kind of works like a crayon. So imagine trying to rub a crayon (in this case, the product on a brush) onto hair with body. You have to pull the hair flat and rub the brush back and forth. It takes too much time and effort.

I found this the best colour for touching up my roots in between visits to the hairdresser. it doesn't come off on your pillow like so many other products and is easy to apply. you do need to add a little water or oil to it as it is quite dry. I use an argon oil.

have used this for years, best thing ever for touch up at your hair line and eyebrows.
