Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! Accessible, well-written, lovely design and rare illustrations.
Super inspirational for anyone involved in fanzine publishing now, or ever read/collected fanzines. By tracing the development of the fanzine movement, the story of British punk is also told. Many, many covers that I hadn't seen before, and lots of anecdotes and insights from people in the heart of zine production. I was especially fascinated at how many copies some of the zines were selling in the day, when they truly were an alternative source of news and information, before the weekly music papers stepped in as a more current and timely source for news.

Amazing!!
Fantastic look back at all the fanzines that accompanied the Punk movement. Great write ups by founders/fans etc,a really great read. Highly recommend this. And the Modzines one too, very similar, but covering the Mod scene, from 60s originals to the Mod revival. Another highly recommended!!

An Enjoyable Look at The Punk Fanzines of the Late 70s
A look at the punk fanzines of the late 70s like Sniffin' Glue and Ripped and Torn, as well as some of the less well-known ones. Includes interviews with key players and lots of great covers and other artwork. It included a lot of stuff I hadn't seen before and I think if you are interested in artwork from this era you will enjoy this book.
