For someone else the rating would probably be a 5 star. I chose a 1 star because it was not what I thought. I actually thought it was the actual lamp shade. It's my fault, I saw the lamp shade and the price and got excited, not seeing it was a Pattern. Since I have no idea how to make a glass stained glass shade, I sent it back.

Worden forms for lamps when used properly are great.You must take precautions as they are styrofoam based not fiberglass but they are one fifth the cost and work fine.This one is a nice size and pattern that does not use a lot of glass which has gotten pretty expensive. Pick quality glass like Bullseye so your finished lamp shade doesn't look like a mass produced shade made in China. Because this will cost more in time and materials but is wort h it.I have used Worden forms for over 30 years and still have some .I placed this review because a person placed a 1 review on a product because they thought they were buying a complete shade. That's not Wordens fault so I hope this balances it out .
