Gaylord Archival Family Archives Document Preservation Kit

I was looking for acid free storage of several newspaper articles and documents. Nice quality product. I like that it's put together as a package for archiving.

We got this to preserve family records and older photos, in an acid free enviroment to keep the newspapers fro further deterioration and protect the photos from damage. It is an excellent way to separate differing types and sizes of documents or to separate and file papers from different families or times. Size is nice and product has held up well.

The quality of this item is excellent and definitely the right materials to organize and preserve fragile, antique papers. However, when the hinged lid is opened, the box is off balance and tends to tip over. It gets in the way when accessing the folders. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS AGAIN. Instead, I would opt for a box with a lid that lifts off or some other type of storage where the box itself does not hinder the process.

Very attractive box which includes several items needed for organized, safe archiving.

This is a sturdy, well-made box. Included in the set are several folders and a glove for safe handling. The only drawback is that the box is top heavy because of how it opens at the top. It will tip over unless full.

The product was perfect to place our family documents/pictures

Good for specific storage and the same as what many historical groups use.

Purchased to preserve older memorabilia. I would purchase again.
