Acoustic Guitar

A must for acoustic guitarists! Excellent content for fingerpickers and folk/blues interests.Updating my review:Have been receiving the magazine for a couple years now and continue to enjoy it. Husband reads it cover to cover and pulls out sample music sheets to try new runs and fingerpicking options. We only use the hardcopy version. Online versions are really not our "thing". This magazine is a staple in our household.

This magazine has gone way downhill in recent years - there are no longer any songs tabbed out, the reviews are advertisements in disguise, and most articles are less than two pages. Sadly, it is the only magazine left devoted to acoustic guitars. Maybe there just isn't a market for that kind of music anymore.

As a hobby musician this is a fun magazine. I usually read it cover to cover. It is great for all types of musicians. Lots of articles relating to the music industry and helpful advise too. Along with sheet music and tabs, album reviews, gear review and much more, this is a great read for any acoustic enthusiast

While I love the magazine, I have had problems getting the issues delivered. This has also happened when I tried to subscribe by phone and over the Internet. They can't seem to get it right.When a customer WANTS to pay, why make it difficult for him? And since I DID pay a subscription..., why am I still having trouble getting all the issues? Customer service is NOT a phrase in their vocabulary.

My son absolutely loves this magazine. It really has expanded is playing and his interest in different artists.

I paid 40.00 and then they switched to bi- monthly and did not offer to refund money or extend the subscription. Sucks!
