This chassis is incredible. The immediate first impression is one of excellent build quality. There are absolutely no tooling marks anywhere, the finish is excellent and all adjustment controls work perfectly. The level of detail and thought that has gone into this is incredible. There is an allen wrench for lateral comb adjustment under the comb. I would have thought this would have merely been placed with a friction fit when in fact there is a spring loaded ball bearing that has a very nice click when the allen is inserted into its slot holding it in place. Assembly and fitment of the rifle in the chassis system is easy and was complete in about 10 minutes. I have zeroed with the new setup and am at 3/4 MOA. The chassis is much more rigid than the H & S precision stock that my rifle came with. Additionally the adjustment for comb, both height and lateral adjustment, as well as the length of pull and butt pad vertical adjustment have made the rifle much more comfortable to be behind. This is noticeable in repeat ability of shots. The rifle is a bit heavy and weighs in at 15lbs now without a magazine. I have tried the Magpul AC mags and they work well and are half the price of the steel AI mags. I am currently running a Harris bipod, and a Burris XTRII 5-25x50 scope with Burris rings and a Leupold 20 MOA rail, the rifle that I placed in this is a Remington 700 5R, and am currently running the Xmark trigger the rifle came with. I will be upgrading to a Timeny soon. The trigger well in this chassis is ample for any trigger to include a Jewel most likely. A friend of mine has has fitment issues with his chassis (not from AI) when trying to use a Jewel trigger as the safety mechanism had clearance issues in the trigger well of his chassis.
