These AmazonBasics HDMI cables offer good value for money.They're not amazingly flexible due to the large conductors required for HDMI 2 over a long distance. Make sure to only buy an extension as long as you need as they don't coil up very well.It solved an issue with the Fire TV Stick. When directly behind the TV, the metal in the TV blocked the wireless signal. This extension cable allowed the fire TV stick to be positioned away from the TV.

I have a large selection of pc cables. Nice to add this one. I did computers and other electrical devices as a hobby. This cable will be used on my test bench. Soon will ensure many plug in and outs. On a technical detail if you have a pc with a game port and are using HDMI you really should switch to this cable for the increase in frame rates. The connectors also lock into place. Have to press button on connector to remove it. A mighty fine upgrade that will stay with your for many years to come. I remember when PC. Cables were built to a standard. You can find these old cables still intact. Unfortunately these days they are built to a price and don't last long. syncwire cables go back to the our standards by creating cables that will outlast most cheaply built ones.

The quality of this male to female hdm extension cable is fabulous. It is not flimsy. It is quite thick which makes it very strong and well made. I bought this for the fact that it was an “amazon’s choice item” and I hoped that I would not be disappointed. I was not. Very handy to have plugged into a spare HDMI socket on your TV and then fed round to the front if it's awkward to get to the back of your TV. That way if you need to plug something in temporarily its easy.Also great if you have an HDMI TV Stick like a Roku, Chromecast, FireTV etc. and want a better WiFi signal by positioning the device in a better position like higher up.I bought two, one for each of the reasons above!

Noticed that my fire stick appeared to be hunting for signals quite a lot. Went onto Internet to find this can happen if the fire stick is set up behind the tv. Took notice of this and purchased the extension lead, have had no trouble since. Extension cable appears to be well made, although I cannot give stars for durability, as only been in place for about 3 weeks.
