300 Pcs Clear Flexible Plastic Straws, BPA-Free Disposable Bendy Straws, 10.2" Long and 0.23'' Diameter

So, the reason I gave this four stars and not five. I put my straws in a spaghetti type (oblong) container. However, not all straws seem to be the same length. When I looked at why it is like where the pull out grove part is, some are pulled out. However, they will not go back in. Just that little bit of height makes these straws not want to fit in my container. The ones where the groves are all the normal closed grove before use - fit perfect. I had to pull out all the taller ones and will either have to cut them to make them fit or put them somewhere else. This is a bit of a pain. Otherwise, I like the price of the straw, but this factor might may be look for perhaps a better quality one, and more expensive - in case the quality is the issue. I would rather not, but as I said this is kind of a pain.

The length is good for tall tumblers, and the bend makes them easy to drink from.

Bought these for a child’s craft project. They enjoy creating things out of craft wire but tend to use up a lot of wire if they want to add some color to it. I came across a picture that had showed using straws on wire (ex: using states for arms & legs). It looked so creative! While it was tedious cutting these straws, I am happy that if you do cut these straws open on one side, they don’t lose their shape and “close” back together. (Think a “pool noodle” that has an opening on one side of the long tube in order to fit the noodle over a bunk bed rail. I hope this description makes sense! Lol). So rather than just threading the straws (ex: as if making a macaroni necklace), the crafter can instead cut a slit and then wrap the straw around the wire. Hopefully this makes sense and is helpful!
