Doctors don't always have it made!
Being in the medical/dental field of work most of my working life, you definitely run into your own set of crazy!! This book was a delight to read. Brought back so many memories and special stories of my own! Definitely a great read! Makes one remember it's still good to laugh and learn continually. Always Enjoy your best health while you still have it.

Laugh Out Loud
As a clinically health care worker this book had me laughing out loud. Can’t help but wonder if having some ‘inside’ knowledge puts a different spin on it. Quick, fun read!

Not for Me
Since I have enjoyed many of Frieda McFadden’s novels, I thought I would like this collection of short stories of hers as well. Not do. Perhaps if I was a medical student or working in the medical field I would be able to appreciate these stories more.

Fun reading
Humerus stories that those who have worked in/currently working in might be more inclined to be able to relate to

More than a bit over the top late in the book.
As a retired career nurse I found some of these stories ok, even a bit familiar, however some are clearly made up to fill up the book. Nursing has its share of odd but true stories, so the hyperbole was not needed and clearly detracted from the book - it was neither wanted nor needed. After about half-way along I started to skip around due to the "fictions", and in the end it went into the trash. Most nurses could do far better just telling the truth about what we do and see, and I can't imagine how medical school would be that different story-wise. Docs are a protected species unlike nurses; I know two nurses who were killed or crippled on the job even prior to Covid-19, one with a broken back thanks to a psychotic patient. Fact is docs don't keep you alive with their 60-second visits- nurses keep you alive the rest of the 24 hour day!

stories involving new doctors
Cute book of stories that really happen involving new doctors. Everyone has to start somewhere , including doctors so why not on you & me.

Funny and heartfelt!
I wasn't sure how to 'take' this book at first but in time I appreciated every sentence, every story and each person!

Some humorous Freida stories....
Other than the funny stories from Freida McFadden (with the last story in this book being excellent..as she later writes a thriller novel, based on this story) I was underwhelmed....I feel (as others before me), that IF you had a medical background....you could relate to these medical situations and words far better than a non-medical person, and therefore, get MORE out of this book and have more laughs along the way..There is lots of different content from numerous medical contributors.

The most boring book ever
I like this author and was high expectation of her book, but this one is really rubbish and I was so regretted of purchased it.

It is not funny at all
This is awful. Do not buy this for a medic. It is not funny at all.
