Absolutely useless. Never been used, took it out fishing today, caught a small jack and had to remove a lure from its mouth. metal hinge snapped immediately so I had to cut the hook out with snips. AVOID. Definitely not stainless steel

Decent device. Good if you have fish with teeth

Upon taking it out of the packaging I squeezed the handles together to close the hook grabber and the handles bent together. I applied much less pressure than I would to pull a hook out of a fish. Complete garbage. Already started the return
