(Review 1) I first heard about the Leashboss Original - Heavy Duty Dog Leash for Large Dogs - No Pull Double Handle Training Lead for Walking Big Dogs from my dear friend Sharon. She and I have 2 Boxer brothers that are a year old and we became friends by purchasing our pups from the same breeder! When we first walked our dogs together, she saw me struggling with my ordinary leash with Leo pulling and yanking and it really hurting my hand, yet she seemed to be having no trouble at all! The foam handle is AWESOME if you own a large VERY strong dog! Leo is a VERY muscular and strong young Boxer and he can pull really hard on walks. This leash has brought me SOOO much enjoyment, pleasure and ease of walking. I love the fact of having 2 different handles, so in the event of another dog approaching or people passing you on the walking path, I can simply reach down to the handle closer to Leo and pull him in! That was genius by the way! I walk Leo everyday for 45 minutes. We also take him to the ocean and on hikes several times a year. I can't wait for our next trip/outing to be able to use our new leash! This new leash is SO easy that I even walk Leo while pushing my grandson in stroller and you can see how easy it is to manage them both! I couldn't be more pleased with this leash AND the excellent price. I will recommend it to ANYONE! Even if you don't have a large/strong dog--the concept, comfort handles, quality of product alone would make me recommend this to ANY/ALL dog owners!(Review 2) It's been 5 1/2 months since we purchased our Leashboss Original - Heavy Duty Dog Leash for Large Dogs - No Pull Double Handle Training Lead for Walking Big Dogs for Leo and we have continued to love it just as much as when we first received it! We walk Leo, our 1 1/2 year old EXTREMELY strong Boxer daily. It's been exceptionally comforting to have such a strong, dependable leash; not to mention how incredibly comfortable it is on the hands with Leo who can really pull. I noticed a couple weeks ago that there was some fraying on the edge of the leash so I contacted Leashboss owner Erin on their website: [...] and asked her opinion. I emailed her pictures of the leash and she immediately emailed me back . She said she didn't like that at all and had never seen that happen with their leashes and she IMMEDIATELY sent me a brand new leash-just like the one I purchased and we received it already! Even though there probably would have been no problem with continuing to use the first leash-- I contacted Leashboss on 8/6 and by 8/11 we received our brand new leash! I am so incredibly happy with this leash AND with the company Leashboss! Their products, customer service and compassion are EXCELLENT!!! We would never buy any other leash for Leo or any other pet again! Thank you Leashboss!

We have two Rottweilers (one is 7 and the other is 1.5 but still very much a puppy). Even though the handles are bulky at times when I have both of them in one hand (like cleaning up poop), these leashes are AWESOME! I used to swear by the KONG double handle padded leashes but these are so much better! I can actually control both dogs by myself where before I sometimes lost one if they were both pulling or playing (much to my neighbors' disgust and sometimes fear) when another dog came by since the old one doesn't like it when little dogs start barking at him (and he scares easily because he's a sissy!). They are so much more comfortable than any other leash I've ever used! When I accidently purchased the "lite" version, the owners were very quick to offer that I could return them; however, I chose to keep them as a backup in case the puppy did finally chew all of the way through her big dog version. She thinks tugging on the leash is playtime (ok... sometimes I let her becuase it's so darn cute). Unless you have a metal leash, I'm not sure there's much out there that will stand up to the puppy's chewing!Overall, the best review I can give is that we not only went back and puchased the 25 foot leashes for both dogs becuase those handles come in really handy when they hit the end of their rope, but I'm also going to purchase new heavy duty leashes for both dogs! If someone's willing to repurchase an item, that should be all of the incentive you need to get one of your own! Stop messing around with the other leashes out there and get one of these! You will love it too!(By the way, the KONG heavy duty leashes are supposedly chew resistant... it took less time for the puppy to chew through a KONG leash than these! I was replacing those every 6 months. I've had the Leashboss leashes for almost a year and half before I finally decided that I should think about getting new ones and they probably still have another 6 months before the puppy gets all of the way through it! They are a lot more sturdy than the KONG leashes!!)

I adopted a one year old Labrador Retriever from our local shelter two months ago. He seemed like an excellent dog, a little on the frisky side (to say the least). Loved going for walks but is a steady puller. I tried everthing. We went to a dog training class together (instructor said this is normal for a one year old dog). I tried several leashes. Used a cholke collar for about a month, which compounded the problem, made him pull more and it was inhumane. I stumbled on Leashboss on Amazon. He still pulls a little. But is easy to control. Before I almost lost my footing a few times as he would unexpectedly lunge off the road to smell some object. I love the dog, I did not want to give up and return him to the shelter as he as he is a wonderful dog, just young and full of life. No more burned hands, better control. Product is very well made. You have to work with a dog to train him/her not to pull. This leash will help. Highly recommended.

Received this leash beginning of the week. On walks my dog can react to cars, with the first handle closer to the dog, I am able to hold on to him easier and it does not hurt my hand. He seems to be walking closer to me even when not holding on to first handle. Looks very sturdy and well made. Only complaint, I would like the first handle to be about 2 feet from the collar versus the 17 inches that currently have, I feel like I have to lean down towards dog when holding it so as not to put constant pressure on his collar.
